Vehicle lighting system
A vehicle lighting system includes a light assembly and an electronic controller. The light assembly includes one or more lights configured to illuminate an external area that is in a vicinity of the vehicle. The electronic controller is programmed to receive a battery status signal from a battery of the vehicle. The electronic controller is further programmed to control the light assembly to illuminate the one or more lights to display a status of the battery when the vehicle is in a predetermined condition. The predetermined condition is at least one of a condition in which a remote electronic device is within a vicinity of the vehicle, a condition in which the vehicle has transitioned from a locked state to an unlocked state, and a condition in which the vehicle is about to be transitioned from the locked state to the unlocked state.
Method and apparatus for vehicular light fixtures
A terrain viewing apparatus is provided to enable greater viewability of environmental conditions around a vehicle. A housing of the terrain viewing apparatus may include a lighting apparatus for emitting light and illuminating environmental conditions during nighttime, dusk, or adverse weather conditions. The housing may further include a reflecting apparatus to increase an operator's ability to view environmental conditions outside the vehicle. One or more joints may enable the housing to be adjustable with respect to the vehicle. An internal joint may enable the reflecting apparatus to be adjustable with respect to the housing. The lighting apparatus may receive power from the vehicle. The lighting and reflecting apparatuses may be electrically coupled to the vehicle and may be controllable therefrom.

The method includes: collecting (s101) data relating to the vehicle surroundings; and controlling (s102) the at least one display unit (20) to adapt at least one vehicle light (22) based on the collected data.

A bus, notably an articulated low platform bus with an electric drive or a hybrid drive. The bus includes a vehicle detection module configured for detecting vehicle such as a car, a van or a motorbike, a height obtaining module adapted for obtaining the height of the detected vehicle, and a lighting system with a lighting surface adapted for displaying a luminous picture at least partially or totally above the height of the detected vehicle. The height of the luminous picture is adapted depending on the size of the vehicle for visibility purposes.

A vehicle includes a light assembly and an electric control module. The light assembly is assembled to an underbody of the vehicle. The light assembly has a light bar and an image projector. The light bar has a plurality of first light sources. The image projector has a housing that is fitted to a longitudinal end of the light bar. The housing has a circuit board and an emitting portion that houses a second light source. The circuit board is electrically connected to the second light source to regulate electric current to the light source. The electric control module is electrically connected to the light bar and the circuit board to provide electrical power to both the light bar and the image projector.

A housing for connecting a light bar to a vehicle comprises at least a front surface comprising a lighting aperture, a first side surface, a second side surface opposite the first side surface, and a top surface defining a hollow interior. The housing further comprises at least a first bracket and a second bracket located within the hollow interior. The first bracket is configured to connect a first interior face of the housing to a first side of the light bar while the second bracket is configured to connect a second interior face of the housing to a second side of the light bar. At least a portion of at least one of the front surface, the first side surface, the second side surface, the first bracket, and/or the second bracket is configured to connect to a surface of the vehicle.

The skid plate assembly can extend below a bumper of a vehicle. The main body can define an opening that exposes the light source and the face of the light source can be aimed forward and downward.
