Method and apparatus for vehicular light fixtures
A lighting device is provided for controlling the photometric distribution of light emitted by two or more LEDs. The lighting device may be integrated with a control system of the vehicle and may be controlled by a remote controller. The lighting device may be capable of being operated in one or more modes of operation based on operating conditions, user input, or both. Operating conditions may include vehicle conditions, environmental conditions, and user conditions. The controller may operate a software application to enable the user to modify, control, or otherwise regulate any mode of operation or other feature of the lighting system.
CONTROL METHOD AND INFORMATION DISPLAY SYSTEM
A control method is performed by an information display system displaying information on one or more display units included in a vehicle. The information display system executes guidance processing for guiding a line of sight of a driver of the vehicle toward a display unit which is not in the line of sight. The control method including: obtaining vicinity information indicating a state of vicinity of the vehicle from a device outside the vehicle; determining whether or not the driver should pay more attention to the state of the vicinity indicated in the vicinity information than the information displayed on the one or more display units; and executing control for suppressing the guidance processing when it is determined that the driver should pay more attention to the state of the vicinity than the information displayed on the one or more display units.
LIGHT INTENSITY CONTROL SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE
A light intensity control system in a vehicle enables the head lamp of the vehicle and the display of the instrument cluster to switch between one or more beam position depending on the ambient light intensity directly in the field view of the driver's eye.
ILLUMINATION DEVICE
An illumination device includes: a predetermined range illumination section capable of illuminating a predetermined range with illumination light emitted from a mobile object; and an eye direction detection section for detecting the direction of the eyes of a driver of the mobile object and/or the direction of the face of the driver. The predetermined range illumination section controls the distribution of the illumination light or the on/off of the illumination light based on the direction of the eyes of the driver and/or the direction of the face of the driver, detected by the eye direction detection section.
Headlight directional control for illuminating an identified object
Provided is a method and device to selectively illuminate off-road objects in low-light environments using directionally-adjustable vehicle headlamps. An object may be identified by a vehicle user and/or autonomous vehicle sensors. When the identified object is within an illumination range capability of a vehicle headlamp, a frontlighting control unit operates to determine vector data for the identified object, taking into account vehicle motion. With the vector data, a headlight pattern of the vehicle headlamp may be adjusted to align with the vector data to illuminate the identified object.
Headlight control system
A headlight control system has a headlight including a plurality of LED light sources, a camera and a radar that detect a predetermined target object present ahead of a vehicle, and a controller configured to control the headlight such that, when the target object is present, of the plurality of LED light sources, the LED light source irradiating a region where the target object is present is turned off, and such that, thereafter, when the target object is no longer present in the region, the turned-off LED light source is turned on again. The controller controls the headlight such that, at the time of turning on the turned-off LED light source again, a change rate of luminance of the LED light source is changed according to a position of an irradiation region of the LED light source.
Methods and systems for monitoring rear objects in a vehicle
A system for a vehicle includes one or more processors, one or more memory modules, and machine readable instructions stored in the one or more memory modules. The machine readable instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the system to: receive one or more images from one or more imaging sensors in the vehicle; identify a first object in a rear seat of the vehicle based on the one or more images; identify a second object attached to the first object based on the one or more images; determine whether the second object is in a set of objects; and output an alert in response to determining that the second object is in the set of objects.
METHOD OF DETECTING AND COMMUNICATING WORK VEHICLE MOVEMENT OR PATH AND SYSTEM THEREOF
An agricultural work vehicle for operating in a field includes a chassis, a cab mounted to the chassis for an operator to control the work vehicle, a controller for controlling operation of the work vehicle, a lighting system of the work vehicle comprising at least one array field light, and a light control module disposed in electrical communication with the controller. The light control module operably controls the at least one array field light. The controller transmits a signal to the light control module indicative of an intended path of travel of the work vehicle. The at least one array field light projects a light emission corresponding to the intended path of travel onto the field at a location visible to the operator while operating the work vehicle.
METHOD OF CONTROLLING AN AGRICULTURAL VEHICLE LIGHTING SYSTEM AND SYSTEM THEREOF
An agricultural work vehicle for operating in a field includes a chassis, a cab mounted to the chassis, a controller for controlling operation of the work vehicle, and a lighting system including a array field light. The controller is in communication with a field map input, and the array field light projects a light emission to illuminate a zone. A light control module is disposed in electrical communication with the controller and operably controls the array field light. Upon identifying an object in the field based on the field map input, the controller determines if the object is in the zone. If the object is in the zone, the light control module controllably adjusts an output from the array field light based on a location of the object in the zone.
