A vehicle dashboard assembly includes a dashboard panel, a display support, a display and a display cover. The dashboard panel has a display receiving space. The display support is coupled to the dashboard panel. The display is removably and reinstallably attached to the display support. The display cover is movably coupled relative to the dashboard panel between a closed position and an open position. The display cover includes a first cover portion for covering a front side of the display and a second cover portion for covering one edge of the display. The first cover portion surrounds a screen of the display while in the closed position to define a display opening for viewing the screen. The first and second cover portions are movable as a unit between the closed and open positions.

A device for securing a display for a vehicle roof having a main slider and an adjustment slider. Each can be coupled to the display and configured for pivoting the display open and closed and for moving it. The device may have a lever arrangement coupled to the main slider and adjustment slider for display open-and closed pivoting and movement. The device also has a locking unit having a locking element coupled to the adjustment slider pivotable relative to the adjustment slider, and which cooperates with a locking pin arranged on the lever arrangement, so that an open position of the locking element in which the locking element is spaced from the locking pin, and a closed position of the locking element in which the locking element retains the locking pin, can be set, and the display can be transferred from a first open-pivoted state into a second closed-pivoted state.
Modular display assembly for vehicles
A modular display system for a vehicle is disclosed. The system includes a plurality of display units that may be arranged along an exterior of the vehicle in different orientations. The system offers a modular, scalable, accessible, and simplified approach to exterior displays for automated and other types of vehicles. The displays, being modular, are not tied to the specific mounting location on the vehicle's exterior. The image data for each display is rotated based on the orientation of the display as installed which is identified by reference to the distinct pin connections of each display's control port.
Method and system for installing a vehicle auxiliary device controller
A control system for a vehicle display, such as a CHMSL, includes a control system module having an OEM connector first portion pre-attached to input wires and OEM connector second portion pre-attached to output wires. In another example, a control system for a vehicle display includes a control system module having a control system module input adaptor for removably connecting the control system module to an OEM first connector portion and a control system module output adaptor for removably connecting the control system module to an OEM second connector portion. Control systems for a vehicle display can be inserted between an input system and a vehicle display without having to identify specific wire harnesses or wires, and without cutting any wires. Different adaptors can be used to insert a single disclosed control system between an input system and a vehicle display in multiple types and makes of vehicles.

A display device includes a cover, a display, and a polarization reflection layer. The cover transmits visible light. The display displays an image. The polarization reflection layer is disposed between the cover and the display and on a surface of the display. The polarization reflection layer reflects part of light incident through the cover and transmits light of the image displayed by the display.
VEHICLE INTERIOR PANEL HAVING A DOCKING STATION FOR A MOBILE DEVICE
A vehicle interior panel includes an in-vehicle support substrate and a docking station for a mobile device. The docking station includes a top edge, a bottom wall, and a reception surface for the mobile device between the top edge and the bottom wall. The reception surface is pivotably attached with respect to the support substrate. A first portion of the bottom wall is configured to hold the mobile device, and a second portion of the bottom wall is configured to remain recessed within the support substrate when the docking station is in a tilted position. This structure for a docking station helps improve within vehicle integration.
VEHICLE DISPLAY ASSEMBLY
A display assembly for a vehicle, the assembly including: a trim element; a display device; and a rotational actuator for the display device. The display device is movable in rotation relative to the trim element according to a first axis of rotation between a rest position and at least a first inclined position. The display device is movable in rotation relative to the trim element according to a second axis of rotation, distinct from the first axis of rotation, between the rest position and at least a second inclined position. The rotational actuator is configured to move the display device between the rest position and the first inclined position and vice versa, or between the rest position and the second inclined position and vice versa.
HEAD-UP DISPLAY FOR VEHICLE HAVING REINFORCED ASSEMBLY STRUCTURE
A head-up display for a vehicle in which an assembly structure of a screen and a picture generation unit (PGU) is reinforced. The head-up display for a vehicle according to one embodiment includes a lower case embedded with a board assembly, and a screen connected to the lower case in a plurality of directions and snap-fit-coupled to the lower case by passing through the board assembly in at least one direction.
Display adjustment system and method for positioning a display for a dashboard of a vehicle
A display and an adjustment device are included in a display adjustment system for an instrument panel of a vehicle. The adjustment device adjusts the display from an original position in the instrument panel into a central position in a passenger compartment of the vehicle. The adjustment device moves the display from the original position of the display in the instrument panel along a central longitudinal axis of the vehicle in the direction of a rear part of the vehicle and transversely with respect to the longitudinal central axis of the vehicle in the direction of a driver's seat so that the display is adjusted into the central position in the passenger compartment of the vehicle.
