FLOORING FOR VEHICLE DECKS AND MANUFACTURING HOUSING
A flooring product has multiple planar single piece substrate components, each with opposing straight longitudinal and lateral edges. A first lateral edge of a second of the substrate components abuts a first lateral edge of a first of the substrate components to form a common seam. The first and second of the substrate components are adjacent relative to a sequential array of multiple substrate components running parallel to the pair of longitudinal edges. The product has a pair of laminate component affixed to each side of each of the substrate components continuously over the sequential array thereof. The laminate components strengthen the product in relation to bearing a load applied to the second surface thereof and each of the common seams. The flooring product may be cut to lengths for accommodating overall lengths of recreational vehicles, trailers or manufactured housing units and thus reduces manufacturing costs associated therewith.
LINING FOR ON-ROAD TRUCK BODY
An on-road truck body lining for protecting an on-road truck body from wear. The on-road truck body lining includes a plurality of main lining elements and a plurality of edge lining elements arranged to be fixated to the on-road truck body. Each of the main lining element includes a load facing portion, one or more transition sides each adapted to meet a corresponding transition side of an adjacent edge lining element and a truck body facing portion, arranged opposite to the load facing portion. The truck body facing portion includes one or more end portions protruding from a respective transition side of the load facing portion such that the one or more end portions of the truck body facing portion are each arranged to be covered by a respective adjacent edge lining element such that the respective adjacent edge lining element, upon being fixated, clamps the main lining element to the on-road truck body.

Sandwich-type, composite component having a sprayed backside protective coating
A sandwich-type, composite component having a sprayed backside protective coating is provided. The component includes a first outer layer having an outer surface, a second outer layer and a core positioned between and bonded to the outer layers and having a plurality of cavities. The protective coating is integrally formed from an elastomeric material. The material is sprayed to form the coating and the coating is bonded to the outer surface by curing. The component may be a vehicle interior component such as a vehicle load floor component.
Device and method for flexible fascia protection, cargo retention, floor protection and storage unit
A vehicle cargo mat system includes a cargo mat configured to fit within an automobile vehicle storage area. Multiple retention members are connected to the cargo mat and are adapted to individually releasably connect to one of multiple attachment members fixed to the automobile vehicle within the storage area. The cargo mat is further configured to extend into at least four optional positions including: a first position extending across a width of the storage area at an outward facing end of the storage area; a second position having the cargo mat laid flat to substantially cover a lower floor of the storage area; a third position having the cargo mat extended over the storage area to cover objects temporarily stored within the storage area; and a fourth position having the cargo mat extended outward from the storage area to at least partially cover a fascia of the automobile vehicle.
Structural component with a hinge element and method for producing a floor assembly of a vehicle
A structural component for a floor assembly of a vehicle. The structural component is formed integrally and includes at least one hinge element and a base part. The base part is configured to support the structural component on the vehicle when the structural component is installed in the vehicle. The at least one hinge element includes at least one flap element which is connected at least in regions to the base part and is configured to be pivoted relative to the base part and, in an end position, to at least partially enclose at least one predetermined construction space of the vehicle. The at least one flap element is furthermore configured in order, in the end position, to abut or to engage in a form-fitting manner against or on respective vehicle elements delimiting the at least one construction space of the vehicle.
COMPOSITE MATERIAL VEHICLE CARGO COMPARTMENT CONSTRUCT
