ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE SERVICE PROVIDER ASSIGNMENT SYSTEM
Aspects of the disclosure provide a computer-implemented method and system for the assignment of roadside assistance service providers such as tow trucks to distressed vehicles/drivers requiring roadside assistance. The methods and systems may include a roadside assistance service provider system with a collection module, an assignment module, and a feedback module. The collection module collects roadside assistance service provider information and historical statistics from real-world information and stores the information in a database that may then be analyzed using particular rules and formulas. The assignment module assigns particular roadside assistance service providers to particular distressed vehicles/drivers based on one or more characteristics. The feedback module may provide near real-time cues to the tow truck driver's mobile device, such as alerting when the amount of time spent on a task exceeds a predefined threshold, flagging high priority tasks/assignments, providing a step-by-step checklist for the repair.
Systems and methods for preventing an operation of a car application that reduces a quality of service of a computer system of a vehicle
A method for preventing an operation of a car application that causes a quality of service of an operation of a computer system of a vehicle to be reduced below a threshold can include receiving, from a separate source, a value indicative of the quality of service of the operation of the computer system during the operation of the car application in conjunction with the operation of the computer system. The method can include determining an existence of a condition. The condition can be that the value is less than the threshold. The method can include causing, in response to a determination of a lack of the condition, the car application to be in a condition to be operated on the vehicle. The method can include preventing, in response to a determination of the existence of the condition, the car application from being in the condition to be operated.
Tire tread gauge using visual indicator
An electronic battery tester for testing a storage battery includes a Kelvin connection configured to electrically couple to the storage battery and a microprocessor configured to determine a dynamic parameter of the storage battery. A forcing function source is configured to apply a forcing function signal to the storage battery through the Kelvin connection. A sensor is electrically coupled to the storage battery and configured to sense an electrical response of the storage battery to the applied forcing function signal. A tire tread gauge is arranged to be inserted into a tread of a tire. The tire tread gauge including a visual indicator. An image capture device is configured to capture an image of the tire tread gauge when the tire tread gauge is inserted into the tread of the tire.
COORDINATED AUTONOMOUS VEHICLE AUTOMATIC AREA SCANNING
Methods and systems for autonomous and semi-autonomous vehicle control, routing, and automatic feature adjustment are disclosed. Sensors associated with autonomous operation features may be utilized to search an area for missing persons, stolen vehicles, or similar persons or items of interest. Sensor data associated with the features may be automatically collected and analyzed to passively search for missing persons or vehicles without vehicle operator involvement. Search criteria may be determined by a remote server and communicated to a plurality of vehicles within a search area. In response to which, sensor data may be collected and analyzed by the vehicles. When sensor data generated by a vehicle matches the search criteria, the vehicle may communicate the information to the remote server.
Device, method, and system for displaying a combined image representing a position of sensor having defect and a vehicle
The present technology relates to an information processing device, an information processing method, and an information processing system by which a user can easily recognize a position of a sensor having a defect from among sensors mounted on a vehicle. Position-related information about a relative position or direction with respect to a vehicle is acquired, and a combined image obtained by combining a defect image representing a position of the sensor having a defect from among the sensors mounted on the vehicle with a vehicle image reflecting the vehicle is displayed in response to the position-related information. The present technology can be applied so that a user can recognize a sensor having a defect from among the sensors mounted on a vehicle.
Information processing apparatus, system, and in-vehicle device
A controller is provided which performs extracting a post related to a vehicle washing machine from posts to a social networking service, and transmitting, to a terminal of a user using the social networking service, information on a position of the vehicle washing machine and a type of the vehicle washing machine specified based on the extracted post.
DISINFECTION SYSTEM FOR A MOTORIZED VEHICLE
The invention relates to a disinfection system for a motorized vehicle comprising at least one disinfectant light emitting device mounted in a vehicle cabin and arranged to emit disinfectant light rays towards internal surfaces of the vehicle cabin so as to sanitize them, first sensor means adapted to sense the presence of a human or an animal inside the vehicle cabin and providing a first sensing signal indicating no presence, and a controller operatively connected to the at least one disinfectant light emitting device and the first sensor means, the controller receiving the first sensing signal, wherein the controller is adapted to operate the at least one disinfectant light emitting device in response to the first sensing signal.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR COUNTERACTING INTRUSION INTO IN-VEHICLE NETWORK
A method and a device for counteracting an intrusion into an in-vehicle network are disclosed. The present disclosure in some aspects provides a device and a control method for counteracting an intrusion into an in-vehicle network of a vehicle, including a communication unit configured to communicate with an external network and the in-vehicle network, a memory storing instructions, and at least one processor, wherein the instructions stored in the memory cause, when executed, the at least one processor to perform monitoring an intrusion attempt from the external network into the in-vehicle network, blocking communication between the communication unit and the external network upon detecting the intrusion into the in-vehicle network, establishing a communication link with a terminal of a driver of the vehicle through the communication unit, and performing communication with the external network through the communication unit and the terminal of the driver.
Vehicle health record
An example method involves receiving, at a computing system, vehicle diagnostic information from a vehicle. The vehicle diagnostic information may include one or more sets of parameters corresponding to parameter identifiers (PIDs). The method further involves identifying a first set of parameters corresponding to a PID representing a state of a particular system of the vehicle and determining, using the first set of parameters, a current value of the PID. The method may also involve performing a comparison between the current value and a predetermined value for the PID and determining a health of the particular system of the vehicle such that the health reflects a difference between the current value and the predetermined value for the PID. The method may also involve displaying, by the computing system at a graphical interface, a vehicle health record representing the health of the particular system of the vehicle.
