ELECTRONIC CONTROLLER ABLE TO BE EXPANDED IN A MODULAR MANNER
A modularly expandable electronic control unit comprises: an electronic circuit board on which a conductor track is disposed on a side in a region of lateral edges and enclosing an inner region and separating it from an outer region of the side, a housing having two halves for receiving the electronic circuit board. With the housing assembled, at least one housing half has an encircling electrically conductive shielding wall which rests on and establishes electrical contact with the conductor track and/or has at least one receptacle accessible from outside the assembled housing. The receptacle is disposed so the electronic module placed in the receptacle may be electrically connected to a module connection port disposed in the outer region of the electronic circuit board. The electronic circuit board has electrical connections between the module connection port and one or more electronic assemblies disposed on the inner region.
ELECTRICAL UNIT
An electrical unit and method of assembly that includes a base housing having a plurality of sides and an opening in one of the sides configured to receive a wire therethrough, and a cover configured to mate with the base housing, defining an internal chamber therebetween. A power distribution box is disposed within the internal chamber, at least one electrical connector is disposed at least partially within the internal chamber, operatively engaging the power distribution box, and extending through the opening, and a universal sealing plate that is selectively mountable on each side of the power distribution box and mounted to align with and seal against sides of the opening and at least a portion of the electric connector extending through the opening.
Electric vehicle
An electric vehicle may include a body, a bracket fixed in a rear potion of the body, a low-voltage component supported by the bracket and a high-voltage component located frontward of the low-voltage component. The bracket may include a front end fixed to the body at a position frontward of the low-voltage component, a rear end fixed to the body at a position rearward of the low-voltage component and at least one bend located between the front end and the rear end and each having an upwardly protruding shape. The at least one bend may include one or both of a first bend located frontward of the low-voltage component and a second bend located rearward of the low-voltage component.
Battery connection device
A battery connection device for connecting to a vehicle battery includes a top member, a bottom member having a side wall and a bottom wall. The side wall, top member, and bottom member form a box-like enclosure. The bottom wall includes a through-hole with a circumferential face, an adapter member arranged inside the box-like enclosure extends at least partially through the through-hole for connection with the battery. A dimension of the adapter member is smaller than a dimension of the through-hole to form a gap between an outer face of the adapter member facing the circumferential face and the circumferential face, and flexible connection member connected to the adapter member and to the bottom member and closing the gap between the outer face and the circumferential face. The flexible connection member includes an electromagnetic shield for shielding electromagnetic radiation and a seal for sealing the gap against dust and/or moisture.
Electrical junction box
An electrical junction box including: bus bars; a circuit board of which one side opposes the bus bars; a conductive portion that is provided on the one side of the circuit board, and is exposed from the other side of the circuit board; an opening that is provided in parallel with the conductive portion in the circuit board, and from which a portion of the bus bars is exposed; a switching element that is arranged on the other side of the circuit board, and of which an input terminal or an output terminal is connected to the conductive portion; and a conductive piece that is arranged straddling a portion of the bus bars and the conductive portion.
Power Conductor and Vehicle Power Distribution Circuit Incorporating the Same
A power conductor for conducting electricity between a power source and a load is disclosed. A conductive body connects between the power source and the load. A sealed chamber is provided in the interior of the conductive body and contains a working fluid for changing phase when heated. A circuit, a vehicle power distribution circuit, and a vehicle incorporating the same are also disclosed.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION BOX
An electrical connection box for installation in a vehicle includes a bus bar to electrically and thermally interconnect a plurality of electrical components electrically connected to a power storage device or in-vehicle load installed in the vehicle, a casing to house the plurality of electrical components and the bus bar, and an insulating heat dissipation member thermally connected to the bus bar and the casing, with at least two of the plurality of electrical components being disposed adjacent to each other, and the bus bar dissipating heat from the two electrical components via the heat dissipation member.
Bolt support for a junction box assembly
A junction box assembly includes an upper housing, a lower housing, a connector assembly and a bolt. The upper housing includes a bolt support. The bolt support is a cylindrical member having a top surface and a through hole. The lower housing includes a bottom through hole. The connector assembly further including a threaded bore. A bolt having a threaded end is disposed in the through hole of the upper housing, the bottom through hole of the lower housing and threadedly engaged with the threaded bore of the connector assembly so as to secure the upper housing, lower housing and connector assembly together. The top surface of the cylindrical member includes a plurality of holes, each of the plurality of holes being closed at a bottom end.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION BOX
An electrical connection box includes a substrate on which a fuse element including terminals is mounted, and a case member in which the substrate is housed. Through holes pass through the substrate in the thickness direction, the terminals of the fuse element are inserted into the through holes on one surface side of the substrate and protrude from the other surface side, and the protruding portions of the terminals are in contact with the case member.
Cable system for a truck trailer
A cable system for a truck trailer for reducing the number and/or size of wiring in a commercial trailer cable system from seven to four, three, or two, while also facilitating bidirectional communication with all connected electronic devices in the trailer. The cable system has a ground cable, a power cable, and zero, one or two additional communication cables that may carry analog and/or digital communications between the control circuit and components of the trailer such as turn signal lamps, brake lamps, backup cameras, environmental sensors, and the like. A transformer for increasing the voltage on the power cable is disclosed, allowing the power and ground cables to be smaller without reducing power delivered to the trailer.
