FOUR-POINT SEAT BELT AND RELATIVE ROAD VEHICLE
Four-point seat belt comprising two thoracic branches configured to anchor the chest of a user to a backrest of a vehicular seat; two abdominal branches configured to girdle and anchor the waist of the user to the vehicular seat; at least one damping device configured to be activated upon exceeding a first predetermined value of a tension force imparted by the user to the belt; wherein the damping device is configured to cause, upon its activation, a controlled advancement of the chest of the user while limiting the acceleration of the head of the user.

Seatbelt assembly with enhanced shoulder belt positioning
Seatbelt assemblies for motor vehicle occupant restraint providing enhanced frontal impact restraint characteristics. Embodiments illustrated a displacement of the intersection positioned between the lap and shoulder belt portions of an active three-point type belt system. In one set of embodiments particularly useful with dual retractor systems, adaptive positioning provisions allow the point of intersection to initially occur at or near the seatbelt latch plate and when a restraint load occurs components release to allow repositioning of the intersection. In other embodiments best implemented in single retractor systems, a turning loop is provided which displaces the webbing slot separating the lap and shoulder belt sections from the buckle latch plate.

Crate Apparatus for Transporting Animals in Vehicles
An animal transport crate apparatus has an outer crate including rigid panels forming an outer boundary of an animal enclosure and an inner lining defining a flexible envelope arranged to receive the animal therein within the outer crate. Vehicle connecting tethers are arranged to extend through the outer crate for connection between the inner lining and frame anchors of the vehicle. The tethered inner lining allows the animal to be captured by the flexible envelope to minimize injury to the animal, and other occupants of the vehicle, regardless of the condition of the outer crate following a crash of the vehicle. The surrounding outer crate of rigid panels maintains ease of portability of the crate.

AUTOMOTIVE RESTRAINING BELT AND PROTECTIVE DEVICE THEREFOR
The present invention provides a single point restraining system for pets. The system is designed to be used with an automotive safety belt restraining system. A first end of the system is a housing having tensioning components therein with the housing having a standard male seat belt connector. An extendable and retractable belt is anchored within the housing, the belt having a connecting end formed by looping a length of material around a male connector. A retraction limiting component is attached to the connecting end of the belt to prevent damage thereto. The housing can be attached to a seat belt receiver and the belt may have a collar attachment for connection to a pet collar.
