A wiper blade connector for connecting a wiper blade to a wiper arm, has: an adaptor secured to an end of the wiper arm; a base secured to the wiper blade; a locking member operatively mounted to one of the adaptor and the base and movable relative to the one of the adaptor and the base between a locked position and an unlocked position, the adaptor secured to the base via the locking member in the locked position, the adaptor detachable from the base in the unlocked position; a user-engageable member operatively connected to the locking member, the user-engageable member movable to move the locking member from the locked position to the unlocked position to detach the adaptor from the base.

A connector for a wiper blade, the connector is configured to cooperate pivotably, by a transverse hinge pin, with an adapter designed to allow an articulation link between the blade and a driving arm, the connector includes a body provided with two opposite side flanges, defining a housing designed to receive the adapter, and a pin between the flanges for the articulation link of the blade to the arm, the flanges include, at each of the ends of the hinge pin, a shoulder configured to allow axial guiding of the articulation link between the blade and the arm, the side flanges is configured to allow lateral flexion of the adapter bearing against the shoulder.

The invention relates to a wiper blade adapter, in particular for a motor vehicle wiper device, comprising a coupling unit (10) which comprises at least one first coupling element (12) and a second coupling element (14) which are provided for coupling at least two different types of wiper arm adapters (100, 110, 120, 130), and housing means (62) which are provided for delimiting at least one part of one of the coupling elements (12). According to the invention, said housing means (62) and the coupling element (12) are embodied such that they form one piece.

A universal coupler assembly for a wiper assembly includes a carrier adapted to be mounted to the wiper assembly and a saddle that is removably received and retained by the carrier. The saddle is slideably mounted in a side of the carrier and includes a locking mechanism to provide releasable engagement with the carrier. Embodiments of a windshield wiper assembly may include a support structure, a wiper blade connector assembly for connecting the support structure with a wiper arm of a vehicle, a wiper blade cover fittable over the wiper blade connector assembly, and a wiper blade strip secured to the underside of the support structure. The connector assembly may include a wiper blade connector, a wiper blade connector cover connected to the wiper blade connector and pivotable between an open position and a closed position, and a wiper blade connector adapter securable between the wiper blade connector and the wiper blade connector cover. The various embodiments of a wiper blade connector assembly permit the embodiments of the wiper blade assembly to be connected with a plurality of wiper arm types.

The present invention is directed to a wiper blade adapter (200) having a body (100) for receiving a hook-type wiper arm (300) and an adapter cap (1) for locking the hook-type wiper arm (300) to the adapter (200), a first end of the adapter cap (1) is hingedly connected to a body pin (130) of the body (100), and a second end of the adapter cap (1) engages a groove (112, 122) of the body (100) to lock the adapter cap (1) to the body (100) and to the hook-type wiper arm (300).

An adapter (112) for connecting a wiper blade to a drive arm, the adapter comprising two substantially parallel walls (28) connected together by at least one connecting element (30), said walls comprising first inner side faces (28a) between which said at least one connecting element extends, and outer side faces (28b) comprising protruding sliding guide patterns (132), characterised in that said patterns are divided into lines and columns.

Embodiments of a windshield wiper assembly may include a support structure, a wiper blade connector assembly for connecting the support structure with a wiper arm of a vehicle, a wiper blade cover fittable over the wiper blade connector assembly, and a wiper blade strip secured to the underside of the support structure. The connector assembly may include a wiper blade connector, a wiper blade connector cover connected to the wiper blade connector and pivotable between an open position and a closed position, and a wiper blade connector adapter securable between the wiper blade connector and the wiper blade connector cover.
