20220009465 · 2022-01-13 ·

A valve for an air brake system on a commercial vehicle comprises a body, an inlet port connected to the body and at least one delivery port connected to the body. The inlet port has a threaded portion distal to the body and a hex portion proximate to the body. The hex portion includes a frangible feature in substantially the mid-point of the hex portion such that the valve can easily be removed from an air brake reservoir when the valve is broken at the frangible feature.

A pre-filling device for a braking system. The pre-filling device includes a pre-filling channel, a pre-filling pressure being inside the channel when the braking system is in a rest and hydro-boost position, and a mechanical valve configured to be opened following a transition from the rest and hydro-boost position to a working position of the braking system; and a hydraulic valve cooperating with the mechanical valve setting the pre-filling pressure inside the channel. The hydraulic valve includes in a first area, facing the mechanical valve, a hole communicating with the channel, and in a second area, hydraulically isolated from the first area, a preloaded resilient element in a chamber held at atmospheric pressure. The hydraulic valve is configured to be connected or not to be connected, by a reciprocating movement inside the channel, to a hydro-booster device and to keep a predetermined pre-filling pressure upon varying of the hydro-boost pressure.

Provided is an electric vehicle, including: motors configured to apply braking/driving torques to drive wheels via gear-type speed reducers; a braking apparatus; and a control device configured to calculate, for each drive wheel, a final target torque, which is a sum of a first target torque that is based on a braking/driving operation amount of a driver and a second target torque for controlling a travel behavior of the electric vehicle, and control the motors and the braking apparatus so that an actual braking/driving torque of the drive wheel reaches the final target torque. When the final target torque is a braking torque under a situation in which the first target torque is a driving torque, the final target torque is corrected to a value that is not a braking torque.
