Electric parking brake actuator assembly
An electric parking brake actuator assembly is proposed. The electric parking brake actuator assembly includes: an outer housing including an inner space in which a gear installation space and a motor installation space are formed; an inner housing installed in the inner space of the outer housing, and including a brush card part and a gear installation part integrated together; a motor assembly coupled to the brush card part to be electrically connected thereto, and installed in the motor installation space; a gear assembly installed at the gear installation part and at the gear installation space, and changing and transmitting the rotational speed of the motor assembly; and a cover housing coupled to the outer housing with the inner housing interposed therebetween, and including a shaft insertion portion.
Parking brake system for stand-on terrain working vehicle
Aspects hereof relate to a stand-on terrain working vehicle having a foot-operated parking brake system. The parking brake system includes a pedal assembly having a first pedal and a second pedal, an actuator coupled to the pedal assembly, a brake configured to be actuated between a set/engaged state and a released/disengaged state, and an over-center linkage. When the first pedal of the pedal assembly is depressed, the brake is actuated to the set/engaged state, and when the second pedal of the pedal assembly is depressed, the brake is actuated to the released/disengaged state. The over-center linkage is configured to bias the brake towards one of the set/engaged state and the released/disengaged state.
Parking brake for an electric vehicle with multi-speed gearbox
A commercial vehicle with at least one driven axle, at least one service brake, at least one propulsion engine, and wheels characterized in that the parking brake function of the vehicle is solved by a bistable locking means acting on both wheels. At least one multi-speed gearbox is provided to concurrently activate a first gear stage and a second gear stage having different ratios.
ELECTRONIC MECHANICAL BRAKE SYSTEM AND VEHICLE
An electronic mechanical brake system and a vehicle. The electronic mechanical brake system includes a brake pedal, an electronic brake mechanism, a mechanical brake mechanism, a brake, and a switch mechanism with a first state and a second state. The electronic brake mechanism includes a controller and an electronic signal sensor. The controller, the electronic signal sensor, and the brake are electrically connected. When the switch mechanism is in the first state, the electronic signal sensor is configured to receive a braking signal of the brake pedal and transmit the braking signal to the controller. The controller controls the brake to brake based on the braking signal. The electronic mechanical brake system can improve driving safety. In addition, reliability of the mechanical brake system is high, and costs are low.
BRAKING SYSTEM WITH REDUNDANT PARKING BRAKE ACTUATION
A braking system for a motor vehicle has a first and a second parking brake A first and a second control device each have a driver for driving at least the first and/or the second parking brake actuator. The first control device has a first arbitration unit to data whether a parking brake action should be carried out. The second control device has a second arbitration unit to receive parking brake request data and to ascertain from the received data whether a parking brake action should be carried out. The result of the second arbitration unit is fed to the first arbitration unit as parking brake request data and the result of the first arbitration unit is transmitted to the driver of the first and/or second control device for driving the first and second parking brake actuators.
Work Vehicle
A work vehicle includes: a body; a travel device supporting the body; a travel driver configured to drive the travel device; a brake configured to lock and unlock the travel device; a deactivation operation tool manually movable to a first position, at which the brake is operable to be activated and deactivated, and a second position, at which the brake is kept deactivated; a position detector configured to detect that the deactivation operation tool is at the second position; and a notifier configured to provide, based on a result of the detection by the position detector, a notification that the deactivation operation tool is at the second position.
HAND TRUCK BRAKE STABILIZER
Implementations of hand truck stabilizer are provided. Implementations of a hand truck brake stabilizer according to present disclosure may be mounted to a hand truck to provide a braking function that may help eliminate unintentional movement of the hand truck.
Release mechanism for a parking brake clutch
A parking brake assembly which includes a brake lever, a rotary clutch and a lock-release mechanism which cooperate to selectively lock and release a parking brake. The clutch allows actuation of the brake lever in one direction and prevents movement of the brake lever in an opposite direction. The lock-release mechanism allows selective movement of the rotary clutch and the brake lever together in the opposite direction. A gear mechanism is operatively coupled between the brake lever and the rotary clutch.
Electrically actuated mechanical park brake system
A park brake system for adjusting a tension in a brake cable that is coupled to a park brake. The park brake system can include a driver that is communicatively coupled to a microcontroller, and an actuator that is rotatably displaceable by operation of the driver. An equalizer assembly can be linearly displaced along the rotating actuator to adjust a tension in the brake cable. The microcontroller can monitor a current being drawn by the driver as the driver is operated, and generate instructions to cease operation of the driver upon the current reaching a predetermined current threshold that corresponds a maximum force that is to be applied by the park brake. The microcontroller can also, when the park brake is being released from a set position, count pulses outputted by an encoder in connection with determining whether the park brake has reached a running clearance position.
