CONTROL SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PREVENTING SUDDEN ACCELERATION OF VEHICLE
A control system for preventing sudden acceleration of a vehicle is provided. The system includes a sensor unit that detects engine RPM of a vehicle, a speed, a depressed state of an accelerator pedal, a depressed state of a brake pedal, and vacuum pressure of a brake booster. A hydraulic pressure compensation unit compensates hydraulic pressure of a brake and a controller determines whether the vehicle is suddenly accelerated based on at least one or more items of information of the engine RPM of the vehicle, the speed, the depressed state of the accelerator pedal, and the depressed state of the brake pedal detected by the sensor unit. The controller then compensates braking force of the brake by generating hydraulic pressure through the hydraulic pressure compensation unit when the vehicle is suddenly accelerated.
Control Device for Electric Vacuum Pump, and Method for Controlling Electric Vacuum Pump
A control device for an electric vacuum pump that generates a negative pressure includes a negative-pressure detector for detecting the negative pressure generated by the electric vacuum pump and a pump stop control unit that is adapted to stop the electric vacuum pump when the negative pressure detected by the negative-pressure detector is not less than a predetermined value. The pump stop control unit is configured to determine an OFF timing at a present stage of the electric vacuum pump based on reference pump-filling-performance data, which is data about a reference negative pressure ratio relative to an elapsed time at an initial stage of the electric vacuum pump, and by referring to present pump-filling-performance data, which is data about a present negative pressure ratio relative to an elapsed time at the present stage of the electric vacuum pump.
Vehicle brake control device
Provided is a vehicle brake control device which is capable of suitably executing brake assistance processing, even if a sensor for detecting the pressure inside a variable-pressure chamber of a vacuum booster is not provided. A brake device is provided with: a vacuum booster for assisting an operation force inputted to a brake pedal; a master cylinder which generates MC pressure Pmc corresponding to the assisted operation force; wheel cylinders which are provided to wheels, and in which WC pressure is increased as the MC pressure Pmc is increased; and a brake actuator capable of adjusting the WC pressure. When it is determined that emergency braking is requested, a control device of the brake device sets, as the assistance limit pressure, the MC pressure Pmc at that point in time, and operates the brake actuator, to execute brake assistance processing for assisting WC pressure increase.

Method for operating a brake device, and control unit
A method is described for operating a hydraulic braking device of a vehicle, in particular a motor vehicle, including at least one brake booster, which sets a brake boost as a function of a driver's braking command. It is provided that the driver's braking command is ascertained via a vacuum sensor assigned to a pneumatic brake booster and a hydraulic brake boost is set.
