Driving assistance apparatus

When a driver is not in pedal erroneous operation inducing situation and a rate of change in an operation amount of an accelerator pedal is equal to or greater than a first erroneous operation determination threshold value, a driving assistance apparatus determines that operation of the accelerator pedal is erroneous operation. When the driver is in the pedal erroneous operation inducing situation and the rate of change in the operation amount of the accelerator pedal is equal to or greater than a second erroneous operation determination threshold value, the riving assistance apparatus determines that the operation of the accelerator pedal is the erroneous operation, and the second erroneous operation determination threshold value is smaller than the first erroneous operation determination threshold value.

A vehicle control device includes a driving force setting unit and a motor controller. The driving force setting unit sets a first requested driving force on the basis of accelerator opening and makes dulling processing on it to set a second requested driving force. The motor controller controls a motor driving force on the basis of the second requested driving force. The motor controller executes a slip control on the condition that the driving wheel slips on accelerated travel. The slip control includes controlling the motor driving force on the basis of a limited driving force smaller than the second requested driving force. In stopping the slip control, the motor controller compares the first requested driving force and the motor driving force. On the condition that the former is smaller than the latter, the motor controller controls the motor driving force on the basis of the first requested driving force.

A control apparatus for a vehicle, which is provided with an engine and drive wheels, is configured, during an inertia running or stop of the vehicle, to execute a control for stopping the engine and/or disconnecting the engine from the drive wheels in each area, depending on whether a condition is satisfied or not. The condition is set based on an information transferred from other vehicle in which the control is executable during an inertia running or stop of the other vehicle. The information includes (a) a location information indicative of the each area and (b) an acceleration representative value representing a required acceleration of the other vehicle required by an operator of the other vehicle in the each area. The acceleration representative value is associated with the location information indicative of the each area.
