CAR PROVIDED WITH A SUPERCHARGED INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
A car having two front wheels; two rear drive wheels; a supercharged internal combustion engine which is provided with a plurality of cylinders with which respective pistons slide and a drive shaft connected to the pistons; a compressor configured to compress air suited to be sucked by the supercharged internal combustion engine; a transmission which is interposed between the internal combustion engine and the rear drive wheels and has: a drum which is brought into rotation by the drive shaft, at least one clutch contained in the drum to receive the motion from the drum, and a primary shaft connected to the clutch; and an actuating system which connects the drum of the transmission to the first compressor so as to receive the motion from the drum of the transmission to cause the rotation of the first compressor.
VEHICLE SYSTEM HAVING FUNCTION OF PREVENTING OCCURRENCE FACTORS OF SUDDEN UNINTENDED ACCELERATION
Provided is an electric vehicle system/general vehicle system having a sudden unintended acceleration prevention function, the system comprising: an auxiliary fuel tank mounted to a vehicle; a hydrogen generation means for receiving fuel from the auxiliary fuel tank so as to generate hydrogen; a stack for receiving hydrogen generated by the hydrogen generation means so as to generate power; a voltage level change unit for changing the voltage level of power generated by the stack; a main battery and an auxiliary battery which are charged by a charging voltage output from the voltage level change unit; a control unit driven by power output from the auxiliary battery; and a drive load unit including a drive motor driven by power output from the main battery or the stack.
HIGH-EFFICIENCY HYDROGEN-POWERED MOTOR VEHICLE
A motor vehicle includes an electrolysis device for decomposing water into hydrogen and oxygen, a storage battery, a hydrogen-powered energy source providing motive power for the motor vehicle and a controller configured to prioritize routing excess vehicular-generated electrical energy to the electrolysis device over the storage batter. A related method of efficiently operating a hydrogen-powered motor vehicle is also disclosed.
Hydrogen hybrid propulsion system
A hybrid propulsion system for a vehicle includes an internal combustion engine (ICE), a fuel cell, a hydrogen storage tank, a battery pack, an electric drive motor and a controller. The ICE has a first output that drives a generator, the generator providing a first output voltage. The fuel cell has a second output providing a second output voltage. The hydrogen storage tank is configured to store hydrogen and selectively and alternatively supply the hydrogen to both of the ICE and the fuel cell. The battery pack selectively and alternatively receives the first and second output voltage to charge the battery pack. The controller receives vehicle inputs and determines operational set points of the ICE and the fuel cell representative of an amount of the first and second output voltage to direct to the battery pack based on operating conditions.
TRANSPORT VEHICLE AND POWER SYSTEM FOR THE SAME
A transport vehicle may include a tractor; a trailer towed by the tractor; a hydrogen power device configured to output power by consuming hydrogen; and a plurality of hydrogen tanks for supplying hydrogen to the hydrogen power device. The plurality of hydrogen tanks may include at least one first hydrogen tank of fixed type that is fixable to the tractor and at least one second hydrogen tank of cartridge type that is detachably attachable to the trailer.
