Heating floor panel unit and floor structure of railcar

A heating floor panel unit of a railcar includes: a heater-equipped floor panel; a first flange horizontally projecting from one end of the floor panel in a car longitudinal direction and fixed to a carbody by a fastening member; and a second flange horizontally projecting from the other end of the floor panel in the car longitudinal direction and fixed to the carbody by a fastening member. The first flange and the second flange are located at such a height that upper ends of the fastening members are located below an upper surface of the heater-equipped floor panel. The first flange, as viewed from above, is located in such a manner that a position of the first flange in a direction orthogonal to a direction in which the first flange projects does not overlap a position of the second flange in the orthogonal direction.

Multi-part tread strip

A tread strip for a vehicle is formed of at least two parts, an inner part and an outer part. The inner part is configured for attachment to the vehicle and/or to an outer part. The outer part is configured for attachment to the inner part and/or the vehicle. The outer part further includes an intermediate portion extending along a longitudinal axis between two attachment portions, the two attachment portions being configured for attachment to the inner part. The inner part has an intermediate portion extending along the longitudinal axis between two end portions. The end portions are configured for attachment of the inner part to the vehicle and/or for attachment to the outer part. The tread strip may be mounted to a vehicle by attaching the inner part and then attaching the outer part to the inner part and/or sealing the inner part with respect to the vehicle.

FIRE-RESISTANT FLOOR STRUCTURE OF RAILROAD VEHICLE

A railroad vehicle fire-resistant floor structure with improved fire resistance against underfloor fires includes a mounting part for installing underfloor equipment on the lower surface of an underframe, and a fire-resistant member. The fire-resistant member is a fire-resistant coating applied to the lower surface of the underframe. The fire-resistant coating is preferably a foamable fire-resistant coating. A cover that covers an exposed portion exposed from the fire-resistant coating (foamable fire-resistant coating) is attached to the mounting part. The underfloor equipment is installed at the mounting part with a closing plate sandwiched therebetween.
