The transfer tank and the flushing water tank are formed by a container body having a partition wall with a first side and a second side facing away from the first side. The first side delimits the first tank interior of the transfer tank and the second side delimits the second tank interior of the flushing water tank.
Toilet Device Having A Backflushing Function For A Particle Filter
A toilet device for a rail vehicle includes flushing water-carrying installations and wastewater-carrying installations. The flushing water-carrying installations include an intermediate reservoir for storing flushing water and a supply line for supplying the intermediate reservoir with flushing water. The supply line includes a filter for filtering the flushing water supplied to the intermediate reservoir. The supply line is connected to the intermediate reservoir such that flushing water from the intermediate reservoir can be returned through the filter. A backflushing line is connected to the filter and opens into a wastewater-carrying installation. A method for operating the toilet device includes supplying the flushing water through a filter to fill the intermediate reservoir, and flushing a flushable bowl with flushing water from the intermediate reservoir or backflushing the filter with flushing water from the intermediate reservoir and draining off the flushing water to a wastewater-carrying installation.
ASSEMBLY FOR THE SANITATION OF THE TERMINALS OF WASTEWATER DISCHARGING PIPES
A sanitation assembly for sanitation of terminals of wastewater discharging pipes includes a sanitation chamber inside which, while in use, there is located a terminal to be sanitized. A fixed UV emission means is located inside the sanitation chamber near a bottom portion thereof and arranged to emit a UV radiation upwards, the fixed UV emission means including a first plurality of LEDs arranged along a first circumference and a second plurality of LEDs arranged along a second circumference inside said first circumference, the first and the second plurality of LEDs being arranged to emit upward a UV radiation having a wavelength ranging from 200 and 300 nm. A movable UV emission means is housed inside the sanitation chamber and includes a third plurality of LEDs designed to emit a radiation ranging from 200 and 300 nm and arranged along a circumference on a vertically moving ring-shaped structure which, while in use, is arranged to surround the terminal to be subject to sanitation. The LEDs of the third plurality of LEDs are designed to emit, in a converging manner, a UV radiation having the wavelength ranging from 200 to 300 nm.
Wastewater management system for vehicles and related methods
A wastewater management system 10 includes a black water tank 12 for holding black wastewater and a grey water tank 14 for holding grey wastewater. The system 10 may additionally include a filter 62 for filtering suspended solids from the grey water; a first conduit 64 between the grey water tank 14 and the filter 62; a second conduit 66 between the filter 62 and a toilet 22, and a third conduit 68 between the filter 68 and the black water tank 12, the third conduit 68 associated with a valve 26; and a fourth conduit 69 between the filter 62 and the grey water tank 14, the fourth conduit 69 associated with the valve 26. The system 10 further includes a control sub-system 38 in communication with the valves 26 for controlling valves 26 to deliver filtered grey water to the toilet 22 for flush and to periodically clean the filter 62 of captured solids and deliver the captured solids to the black water tank 12. A related method for managing wastewater within a recreational vehicles with the wastewater management system 10, an apparatus for delivering wastewater from a recreational vehicles to a drain and an additive sub-system 54 for wastewater management system of a vehicle are also provided. Further, the present teachings relate to a system 10 including a housing associated with a toilet 22, the housing including a valve and a macerator pumping arrangement 34 including a macerator 34a and a pump 34b that work independently from one another, the macerator 34a including a plurality of macerating knives 37 driven by a first motor 35a, the pump 34b providing positive pressure, the macerator pumping arrangement 34 is operative in a macerating mode and a pumping mode, such that the first motor 35a first drives the macerating knives 37 to macerate the waste and subsequently, the pump 34b pumps the waste out of the housing 34a.
Vacuum toilet system with leak detection means
A vacuum toilet system including a toilet bowl, a wastewater tank under vacuum, an ejection valve for ejecting air from the wastewater tank, means for monitoring the frequency of activation of the ejection valve, and a sensor for activating the ejection valve.
BIOREACTOR CLEANING INSTALLATION FOR BIOREACTORS IN RAIL VEHICLES
A bioreactor cleaning system for cleaning a bioreactor in a rail vehicle, comprising a first suction connection, a second suction connection, a flushing connection, an acid tank, a collection tank for receiving liquid drawn out of the bioreactor, a fresh water connection, a pump with a first pump connection and a second pump connection, and a measuring unit for measuring liquid. By means of the pump liquid can be pumped from the first suction connection optionally into the measuring unit, into the collection tank or into the acid tank, aqueous acid solution can be pumped from the acid tank to the second suction connection and/or to the flushing connection; fresh water can be pumped from the fresh water connection selectively to the flushing connection or the measuring unit; and liquid can be pumped from the measuring unit either to the collection tank or to the second suction connection.
