Vehicle brake system
Disclosed is a brake system for a railroad vehicle, including a parking brake provided with a piston and having a first configuration in which the piston is in a working position in which it acts on a lining support and applies a predetermined force to a brake disc; a second configuration in which the piston is in a rest position in which it does not act on the support and does not apply any force to the disc; and a third configuration in which, when the vehicle is not at a standstill and the ambient temperature in the environment of the disc is greater than a threshold value, it forces the piston to move towards a trip position different from its working and rest positions, in order to limit or cancel the force applied to the disc.
BRAKING SYSTEM FOR SLIDEWAY GUIDED AMUSEMENT VEHICLES
A braking system for slideway guided amusement vehicles providing both manual and automatic braking for the slideway guided amusement vehicles is provided. The braking system includes at least one brake handle, a first shaft fixed to the at least one brake handle, a first gear concentrically positioned on and free to spin independently of the first shaft, an actuator fixed to the first shaft for providing a linear motion to a stop pin, an inlet opening on the first gear for receiving the stop pin, a second gear coupled to the first gear, concentrically fixed on a second shaft for mounting spinnably and extending horizontally to a chassis of a vehicle, at least one friction member attached to the second shaft, a tensioning means, and a control unit adapted to remove the stop pin from the inlet opening via the actuator.
ULTRA-CLEAN MANUALLY-ACTUATED CLAMPING BRAKE
A system includes a carriage configured to move along a rail. The system also includes a clamping brake configured to selectively allow and prevent movement of the carriage along the rail. The clamping brake includes multiple brake pads configured to be moved inward to lock onto the rail and to be moved outward to release the rail. The clamping brake also includes multiple springs configured to apply spring forces that cause the brake pads to move inward and lock onto the rail. The clamping brake further includes a camshaft coupled to or including multiple eccentrics. The eccentrics are configured to overcome the spring forces and cause the brake pads to move outward and release the rail.

LINEAR BRAKING SYSTEM FOR RAIL VEHICLES
The present invention relates to a linear brake assembly for a rail truck, comprising: a brake mechanism, the brake mechanism comprising at least one air brake, the air brake comprising at least a pressurized air chamber; a linear brake pad, the linear brake pad moveable between an extended position and a retracted position via operation of the brake mechanism, the extended position having the linear brake pad in contact with a rail and the retracted position having the linear brake pad not in contact with the rail; the linear brake pad defaulting to an extended position and moving to and from the retracted position via operation of the brake mechanism; wherein movement of the linear brake pad is performed via adjustment of air pressure within the pressurized air chamber of the air brake.
Railway braking system for a railway vehicle
Disclosed is a railway braking system including a braking device provided with a body, a single piston that can move with respect to the body to act on a brake linkage, and delimiting, together with the body, a pressure chamber supplied by a pressure medium source for placing the piston in a rest position where the linkage applies no force on a braking member of a railway vehicle, first and second seals housed between a first section of the piston and the body, and third and fourth seals housed between a second section of the piston and the body; the first and third seals being configured to form a primary sealing of the pressure chamber and the second and fourth seals being configured to form a secondary sealing of the pressure chamber.
