PACKABLE GAME EXTRACTION SLED
The presently disclosed apparatus is in the field of game sleds utilized to assist with game hauling after a successful hunt in remote areas. The game sled disclosed herein provides a hunter with a lightweight, durable sled, which can be attached to a hunter's pack and deployed to extract game that is downed in a remote area where vehicular transportation of the downed game is not allowed, or impossible. The Packable Game Extraction Sled disclosed herein is comprised of a novel tensioning means and spreader bar, which automatically configures the front end of the sled into a semi-rigid bow shape to aid in pulling the loaded sled over obstacles and through snow.
Towable flexible sheet mover
A towable mover includes a flexible mat and a hollow tow bar substantially contained in a sleeve at the leading edge of the mat. A tow rope is coupled to each end of the tow bar for towing. Couplings include a plug assembly securely received within the interior space at an end of the tow bar and a rope coupling assembly attached to the plug assembly. The plug assembly includes a resilient elastomeric cylindrical plug, the diameter of which swells when the ends are squeezed together by tightening a bolt. The rope coupling assembly is external to the tow bar and external to the sleeve. The sleeve is disposed between portions of the mat that may freely fold to allow passage through narrow spaces.
Compact Hiking Sled Device
A compact hiking sled device facilitates descent on snowy terrain while being lightweight and compact to facilitate hiking to an elevated position. The device includes a hull having a front side, a pair of lateral sides, a back side, a bottom side, and an interior space. Each of a pair of brake levers is pivotally coupled to a respective one of the lateral sides. A seat is positioned within the interior space. A thigh bar extends between the lateral sides of said hull adjacent to a front of the seat. A calf rest bar is adjacent to the front side of the hull. Each of a plurality of carrying straps is attachable to the hull for carrying the hull like a backpack.
Cargo sled assembly
A cargo sled assembly for facilitating a physically limited user to transport cargo includes a dish that has a rigid bottom wall to facilitate the dish to be dragged along a variety of support surfaces. The dish has a diameter of at least 40.0 inches to accommodate cargo such as yard debris or the like thereby facilitating the dish to transport the cargo. A pair of straps is each coupled to and extends laterally away from the dish. A rod is coupled between each of the straps and the rod can be gripped by a user thereby facilitating the user to drag the dish along the support surface. In this way the user can transport the cargo in the dish.
TRANSPORT TRAILER
A trailer system for transporting multiple adult passengers and/or supplies over harsh terrain (e.g., snow, ice, wetland, etc.) when towed behind a vehicle. The trailer system includes a cabin, first and second skis, and first and second suspension assemblies. The suspension assemblies connect the skis, respectively, with the cabin. The suspension assemblies incorporate multiple pivot points that effectively isolate the skis from cabin, and promote true “tracking” of the trailer system relative to the towing vehicle. In some embodiments, the cabin has a highly buoyant construction, allowing the trailer system to float in water.
Cart system for transporting objects over soft and hard surfaces
An apparatus for transporting objects over soft and hard surfaces is disclosed. The apparatus includes a cart and a sled. The cart includes a base plate, toggles mounted at a top surface of the base plate, wheels mounted at a bottom surface of the base plate, and a cart handle mounted to the base plate. The sled includes eyelets and cables drawn through the eyelets. Further, the sled includes clips mounted at sidewalls of the sled. The sled is used for holding objects during transportation. The cables are used for pulling the sled over the soft surface for transporting the objects. Further, the sled holding the objects is placed over the base plate, and the toggles are mounted to the clips to mount the sled to the cart. The cart handle is used for pulling the cart over the hard surface for continued transporting of the objects.
UTILITY SLED
A utility sled is formed from a lightweight material and includes a handle flexibly attached to the front end thereof. The handle includes a hook that is seated within a small opening of the utility sled when not in use. A pair of retractable wheels is attached to an exterior of each sidewall of the utility sled. The sidewalls are biased outward when no load is present. When loaded, the sidewalls advantageously tend to straighten vertically. The formed bottom of the sled includes a plurality of ribs which both add strength to the sled as well as function as sled runners when the wheels are retracted. The ribs operate to reduce friction between the sled bottom and the underlying surface.
A TEMPORARILY ATTACHABLE SLED DEVICE FOR HUMAN-POWERED HOUSEHOLD VEHICLES
A temporarily attachable sled device for human-powered household vehicles includes a main body and at least one front end chock assembly and at least one rear end chock assembly. The main body is formed of a substantially waterproof sheet, with substantially at least the lower face of the sheet formed as a low friction surface. The at least one front end chock assembly and the at least one rear end chock assembly extending from the upper surface of the main body in use. The main body and the chock assemblies are sized and shaped so that a household vehicle can be positioned on the upper surface of the main body and prevented from riding up and over the chock assemblies. The main body includes ridges along and extending upwards from each side of the main body, the ridges extending substantially the length of the sides.
Portable storage sled
A portable storage sled for transporting equipment includes a first elongated member and a second elongated member. At least one connecting member joins the first elongated member to the second elongated member. Each of the first elongated member and the second elongated member includes an extension member that is selectively retractable and extendable therefrom. The first elongated member, the second elongated member, the first extension member and the second extension member include a plurality of ridges extending upwardly therefrom that form an equipment mount between which the equipment is situated. The portable storage sled is selectively adjustable in length and width so that equipment of various sizes can be situated thereon.
Hauling mat device
A hauling mat device for conveniently attaching to a hitch ball and hauling a load by dragging the device along the ground includes a sheet constructed of a resilient, flexible material having a pair of hitch holes extending through the sheet on each end edge of a pair of end edges of the sheet, wherein the pair of hitch holes are configured for receiving a hitch ball therethrough. The device is deployable in a first mode, wherein one of the hitch holes is hitched to the hitch ball and a load is placed on the sheet for hauling. The device is also deployable in a second mode, wherein both hitch holes are hitched to the hitch ball with the load placed in a loop defined by the sheet. In the first and second modes, the load is hauled by dragging the device along a ground surface.
