SELF-PROPELLED STAIR CLIMBER
A self-propelled goods stair climber includes: first and second motorized tracks and an elongated configuration parallel to a straight forward travel direction; a loading surface implemented to tilt with respect to the tracks around a first transverse axis perpendicular to the tracks; an actuated stabilization member movable between an extracted position so that the weight of the stair climber is carried at least in part by the stabilization member and a retracted position in which the stabilization member is not loaded; a proximity or support sensor carried by the stabilization member to send a signal of approach or contact with a floor; an electronic control unit programmed to activate the first and second tracks on the basis of said signal when the stabilization member is extracted; and check an inclination of the loading surface to be maintained in a predefined angular range with respect to a horizontal direction.
CARRYING ARRANGEMENT FOR CARRYING A MEDICAL APPARATUS
Carrying arrangement for carrying apparatuses, in particular medical apparatuses, having a base carrier on which at least three roller elements are arranged in order to move the carrying arrangement with respect to a floor surface. The roller elements are each rotatable about first axes of rotation (D). At least one of these roller elements is pivotable about a pivot axis (S) with respect to the base carrier. The axes of rotation (D) and the pivot axis (S) extend in different directions. At least one supporting element is arranged at least indirectly on the base carrier. The supporting element does not contact the floor in a first position of the carrying arrangement with respect to the floor surface and the supporting element contacts the floor in a second position of the carrying arrangement with respect to the floor, the second position being pivoted with respect to the first position.
Stroller Track System
A stroller track system is used to facilitate the transporting of a stroller up and down stairs. The stroller track system includes a stroller, a left tread assembly, and a right tread assembly. The left tread assembly and the right tread assembly are mounted to a frame of the stroller and are used to engage multiple stairs while traversing a set of stairs. This allows the stroller to glide smoothly up or down the stairs. The left tread assembly and the right tread assembly each include a first track and a second track. Together, the first track and the second track allow the left tread assembly and the right tread assembly to span a larger section of a staircase. The first track is mounted to the frame through a first stroller-attaching mount. A track-securing bracket is used to mount the second track to the frame.
TRANSPORTATION DEVICE
Provided is a transportation device for loading a cargo and moving in a moving direction, comprising: a bed for loading a cargo thereon; four leg parts for being able to receive a part of a weight of the bed individually; a movable part for moving the leg parts individually to change relative positions with respect to the bed individually; and a control part for controlling the movable part for the four leg parts individually, wherein the control part is for changing the relative position of at least one of the four leg parts with respect to the bed within a range in which a center of gravity of the bed is located inside a profile of a horizontal triangle made by three leg parts among the four leg parts as apexes, causing the three leg parts to support the bed and releasing one remaining leg part from supporting the bed.
Patient support apparatus with frame guard
A patient support apparatus for traversing objects supported on ground surfaces. The patient support apparatus comprises a patient support deck, and a base to support the patient support deck from the ground surface. At pair of caster wheel assemblies spaced from each other are coupled to the base for pivoting movement about respective pivot axes cooperating to define a reference plane. A frame guard coupled to the base defines first and second ramp surfaces each disposed at an angle relative to the reference plane. The first ramp surface is arranged to engage objects before they contact one or more of the caster wheels when the patient support apparatus moves in a first direction. The second ramp surface is arranged to engage objects before they contact one or more of the caster wheels when the patient support apparatus moves in an opposite, second direction.
Powered Lifting Hand Truck Apparatus and System
A powered lift hand truck with a corresponding method of operation and control. The apparatus includes a powered lift hand truck configured to lift a load from a lowered to a raised position (and vice versa). The system uses the rotational speed to measure linear speed and enforce a consistent speed of the load. The system is programmed to lift/lower loads at the same speed, regardless of load overall weight. If, for example, the load is heavy, the system determines that the speed is below a predetermined threshold and increases the power so as to increase speed.
METHOD, CONTAINER, AND TRANSPORT VEHICLE FOR PREPARATION AND TRANSPORTATION OF SHIPMENTS OF GOODS
A method, a palletizing sleeve, and a hand truck are provided for preparing a plurality of shipments of goods and transporting each shipment to one of a plurality of delivery destinations. The method includes determining the goods for the shipment, virtually building an optimized stacking configuration of those goods, physically building the stack based on the optimized configuration, transporting the shipment to a pre-determined delivery destination, and unloading the shipment at the delivery destination. The palletizing sleeve includes a base and a vertical wall that cooperate to support and stabilize a stack of goods that make up a portion of the shipment. Standoffs on the sleeve base provide openings to accept forks from the hand truck so that the hand truck can engage the sleeve from underneath the base. A fork height adjustment system selectively adjusts the fork height relative to the bottom of the hand truck.
SUITCASE AND HAND TRUCK FOR ASCENDING AND DESCENDING STAIRS
The present invention discloses a load-carrying device such as a suitcase, a carry-bag and a hand truck, which can ascend and descend stairs without changing the position of the person relative to the device. The load-carrying device is constructed with a main frame which defines a main plane of the device, at least two main wheels, and a support frame which can swing out of the main plane. The support frame is equipped with a caterpillar mechanism and optional bottom wheels. When ascending stairs, the support frame is pushed against the main frame by the edge of the stairs and the caterpillar with a ratchet mechanism helps slide the load-carrying device upward. When descending stairs, the support frame swings down toward the lower step before the main wheels go off the upper step so that the support frame enables soft-landing of the main wheels.
Patient Support Apparatus With Frame Guard

FOLDABLE LOAD TRANSPORT CART
A load transport cart for transporting loads includes a carrier frame, which has a first and a second carrier frame section, the first carrier frame section extending in a first extension plane, and the second carrier frame section extending in a second extension plane, at least two wheels being situated on the back side of the first carrier frame section for moving the load transport cart, and at least one first foldable tray, which is situated on the front side of the first carrier frame section, the load transport cart also including at least one second foldable tray, which is situated on the front side of the second carrier frame section, the second carrier frame section being pivotable, relative to the first carrier frame section, between a folded position and an unfolded position around an essentially horizontal carrier frame pivot axis situated between the first and second carrier frame sections.
