BRAKE/BALLAST ASSEMBLY FOR A MOVABLE STRUCTURE
A brake/ballast assembly for a movable structure. The brake/ballast assembly includes a movable brake/ballast plate movable between a movable brake/ballast plate first position in which the movable brake/ballast plate is positioned proximate the fixed member and a movable brake/ballast plate second position in which the movable brake/ballast plate is spaced from the fixed member. An engagement member is connected to the movable brake/ballast plate. The engagement member is movable between an engagement member first position and an engagement member second position. When the engagement member is in the engagement member first position, the movable brake/ballast plate is provided in the movable brake/ballast plate first position allowing the movable structure to be moved along a surface, when the engagement member is in the engagement member second position, the movable brake/ballast plate is provided in the movable brake/ballast plate second position preventing the movable structure from moving relative to the surface.
Wheeled transport device
According to a first aspect of the present disclosure, there is provided a wheeled transport device featuring at least one castor which has a wheel and a brake system which has a contact member with one opening which is defined by an edge. The contact member is configured to be manipulated between an applied state, where the edge is in contact with the wheel, and a released state where the edge is not in contact with the wheel.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR IMPROVED CARGO DOLLY FOR REMOTE CARGO HOLDING PINS FOR A CARGO DOLLY
An improved cargo dolly for transporting cargo is described having a mobile dolly frame, a main shaft on the frame, a lever proximate to a first part of the frame (where the lever is movable relative to the frame and in responsive communication with the main shaft), a first set of transfer sprockets mounted to the main shaft, a secondary shaft rotatably disposed at a second part of the frame (where the first part is remote from the second part), a second set of transfer sprockets mounted to the secondary shaft, a chain disposed about the first set of transfer sprockets and the second set of transfer sprockets, and a locking pin having a first end fixed to the secondary shaft and a second end configured as an angled latch. Rotation of the lever responsively causes the locking pin to remotely rotate at the second part of the frame.

Wheelbarrow braking assembly
A wheelbarrow braking assembly for slowing or stopping a wheelbarrow includes a brake rotor that is attachable to a wheel of a wheelbarrow. A caliper is mountable to the wheelbarrow such that the caliper is aligned with the brake rotor for slowing or stopping the wheelbarrow. A brake handle is provided that is mountable adjacent to an end of a respective rail of the wheelbarrow. In this way the brake handle is accessible to the user when the user is maneuvering the wheelbarrow. The brake handle is in mechanical communication with the caliper and the caliper is engaged when the brake handle is squeezed.
Stationary transfer platform and cleaning device for supply transport device
A stationary platform for supporting a supply transport device is provided. The stationary platform includes a frame having at least two longitudinal sides, a first end and a second opposing end, and a top surface and a bottom surface, and a plurality of legs extending from the bottom surface of the frame to support the supply transport device on the frame. The supply transport device is slidably received on the top surface of the frame. A wheel base assembly having a cleaning device for contacting a bottom surface of the supply transport device, to remove dirt and debris from or to disinfect the supply transport device, is also provided.
MOTORIZED WEIGHT BEARING DEVICE
A weight-bearing device includes a single wheel, a frame attached to the wheel, and an electric motor attached to the frame. The electric motor is configured to rotate a first gear, connected to a second gear with a chain. The second gear is connected to the wheel. The second gear and the first gear may have a gear ratio of greater than 8:1.
ASSIST CONTROL DEVICE
An assist control device controls an electric motor assisting traveling of a mobile object. The assist control device includes an operating switch and a control part. The operating switch is configured to be turned on when operated by a user. The operating switch is configured to be turned off when released from being operated by the user. The control part controls the electric motor to output an assist force when the operating switch is turned on.
BRAKE CONTROL DEVICE
A brake control device includes an operating switch and a control part. The operating switch is configured to be turned on when operated by a user. The operating switch is configured to be turned off when released from being operated by the user. The control part executes first brake processing for stopping the mobile object when the operating switch is switched off from on during traveling of a mobile object.
Personal cart and method for using
A personal cart and method for using the personal cart. The personal cart has a platform support frame. Wheels are rotatably connected to the platform support frame. Handles are also attached to the platform support frame. A rectangular platform is rigidly connected to the platform support frame. The platform has a raised railing extending upwards along the outer perimeter of the platform. In a preferred embodiment the platform support frame is foldable. Also, in a preferred embodiment a plurality of tote bags is placed on the platform. Each tote bag laterally supports another tote bag and the plurality of tote bags is also laterally supported by the raised railing.
