Vehicle for An Infant
A vehicle for an infant having a vehicle body (10) having a front end (11) and a rear end (12), a front steering unit (20) mounted on the front end (11) and including a steering column (21) on which a front wheel (31) and a handlebar (22) are mounted, a seat (41) mounted between the front end (11) and the rear end (12), a first rear wheel (321) connected to the vehicle (10) body via a first wheel carrier (171) and a second rear wheel (322) connected to the vehicle body (10) via a second wheel carrier (172), the first and the second wheel carriers (171, 172) being rotatably mounted on the rear end (12) between a compact configuration and a deployed configuration, the first and the second wheel carriers (171, 172) being movable between the two configurations independently of each other.
Pivot joint and vehicles that employ a pivot joint
In an aspect, a pivot joint for a collapsing foot-deck-based vehicle is described, comprising a foot deck, at least two wheels coupled to the foot deck, and a handlebar assembly coupled to the foot deck via a locking pivot joint, also referred to as a locking swivel joint, the handlebar assembly comprising at least one handle, the locking pivot joint having a pivot axis that is generally unparallel with a horizontal plane defined by the lowermost surfaces of the at least two wheels, the handlebar assembly being selectively pivotable via the locking pivot joint between a riding configuration in which the handle is generally distal from the foot deck and a collapsed configuration in which the handle is generally proximal to the foot deck.
Motorized Riding Stroller
A motorized riding stroller is provided including a frame having a base platform, a handlebar, and a plurality of legs, wherein the plurality of legs extend from a lower surface of the base platform. The handlebar is pivotally affixed to a rear side of the base platform. An interchangeable seat is removably securable to an upper surface of the base platform. A standing platform is disposed between a pair of rear legs, wherein the pair of rear legs are disposed on opposing lateral sides of the base platform along a rear side thereof. A wheel is affixed to a distal end of each leg of the plurality of legs, wherein each wheel is operably connected to a motor disposed within an interior of the frame. The wheels rotate upon actuation of a drive control disposed on the handlebar, such that the stroller can move in opposing directions.
Animal mobility device
An animal mobility device to be used with an animal who lacks full functional use of its rear legs, providing the animal with two modes of operation, with the first mode of operation being active, whereby the animal propels itself by its front legs while having its rear portion supported by the device, and with the second mode of operation being passive, whereby a human operator propels the device while the entirety of the animal is supported by the device.
CART HANDLE AND BABY CART
A cart handle and a baby cart in which cart handle includes a fixed member; a handle body rotatable relative to the fixed member; an engagement part having a first portion that non-rotatably engages the handle body and slidably engages the handle body, and having a second portion that non-rotatably engages the fixed member; and an operation part that is actuated to alternately displace the engagement part to an unlocked position, wherein the second portion is not in engagement with the fixed member, thereby permitting rotation of the handle body relative to the fixed member, and displace the engagement part to a locked position, wherein the second portion engages the fixed member, thereby preventing rotation of the handle body relative to the fixed member.
Stroller
The present invention relates to a stroller, and provides a stroller including: a seat part, and a seat accommodation part configured to accommodate a seat; a connection frame part including a first connection frame configured to support the seat and to include vertical portions and lateral portions, and a second connection frame formed in a “U” shape including vertical portions and a lateral portion and configured such that the vertical portions are rotatably connected to the first connection frame; and a bicycle structure including a main frame configured such that the connection frame part is mounted thereon in such a manner that the first connection frame is coupled to the front end thereof and the second connection frame is coupled to the rear end thereof, a front wheel installed under the front of the main frame, and rear wheels installed under the back of the main frame.
PRAM FRAME
There is provided a pram frame (200) comprising a first roller attachment point (221) configured to engage with a first roller set (121) and a mechanism (231) configured to engage with the first roller set (121) via the first roller attachment point (221). The mechanism (231) is configured to provide driven steering of the first roller set (121) when a user steers the pram frame (200).
Push-to-pull convertible carriage
A pull-behind carriage has an auxiliary wheel mounted on a reconfigurable drawbar. When the pull-behind carriage is converted to a push carriage, the drawbar is folded so that the auxiliary wheel is positioned on the ground to act as an extra, supporting wheel. Joints in the drawbar are palm operated and can be rotated without continuing to hold the joint. The drawbar may also serve to move the axle of the main wheels backwards when the carriage is converted from the pull-behind mode to the push mode.
Footrest
A footrest is provided for a child riding on a tricycle. The footrest has a housing having a foot platform and a retaining assembly. The foot platform has a top surface and a bottom surface, wherein the top surface is adapted to receive a foot of the user. The retaining assembly is adapted to separately engage one of a fork of the tricycle, a fender for the front wheel of the tricycle, and a crank of the tricycle. Additionally, the footrest does not engage the tricycle body extending between the front fork and the rear wheels of the tricycle.
