FOUR-WHEEL INDEPENDENT STEERING SYSTEM AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A four wheel independent steering system and the control method thereof is configured to implement an interface provided for independently steering four wheels and an operating mechanism thereof, and the four-wheel independent steering system includes a motion module configured for implementing steering motions by a tilting operation of a steering wheel, and a controller configured to detect a steering signal corresponding to one of the steering motions, and to control steering movement or suspension movement of four wheels based on the detected steering signal.
Steering wheel mounted display assembly retaining upright orientation regardless of rotated position
A steering wheel mounted visual display including a housing incorporated at a location defined within a circumference of the steering wheel and having a graphical display output. Upon rotation of the steering wheel, the display adjusts to remain in an upright orientation. The housing further includes a main lower housing and an assemble-able upper housing sandwiching a display component providing the graphical display output. The display component further includes a stationary inner component, a display support and a PCB component cooperating for auto-updating the graphical display output in response to rotation of the steering wheel.
STEERING WHEEL DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
A vehicle steering wheel device, including a center portion of a steering wheel, a steering wheel cover that covers the center portion on the dashboard side, the side opposite the driver, an electronic control unit stowed in an internal area between the steering wheel cover and the center portion, an opening section where a part of the steering wheel cover is open in a window shape, a lid detachably provided on the steering wheel cover that closes the opening section, and a harness provided in the internal space that connects to the electronic control unit and supplies power from the vehicle body side, where the electronic control unit is provided secured to the lid, and the lid is connected to the vehicle body side by the harness connected to the electronic control unit.

ROTARY CONNECTOR DEVICE
A rotary connector device includes a stator, a rotator, a first connector, and a second connector. The rotator is rotatable about a rotation axis with respect to the stator. The first connector is provided at the rotator. The second connector is provided at the stator. The first connector includes a first lead block which is attached to the rotator and a second lead block which is a member separated from the first lead block and is attached to the rotator. When viewed from an axial direction along the rotation axis, the first lead block is disposed so as to overlap at least partially the second lead block.
Handwheel actuator assembly
A handwheel actuator assembly 600 for a steer by wire steering system of a vehicle is disclosed. The assembly 600 comprises a steering wheel 601 and a feedback torque generator. The steering wheel 601 has at least one hand grip portion rotatable around an axis of rotation of the steering wheel 601 which can be gripped by a driver and a hub 602 that supports the hand grip portion. The feedback torque generator comprises an electric motor which has a stator 609 and a rotor 610. The rotor 610 is directly or indirectly fixed to and rotates with the hub of the steering wheel 601 and the stator 609 is secured to a fixed part of the vehicle body such that it cannot rotate relative to the vehicle body. The motor comprises a brushless permanent magnet Vernier motor.
