A track drive for outdoor power equipment has a support frame with a centerline and a hub bearing attached to the support frame. A drive sprocket having a nesting interior half and exterior half is attached to the hub bearing, which enables the drive sprocket to rotate relative to the support frame. The drive sprocket is attached to an associated drive hub of a piece of outdoor power equipment. Drive sprocket teeth are spaced radially about the drive sprocket, with a first set of drive teeth attached to the interior half sprocket and located on an interior side of the support frame. A second set of drive teeth are attached to the exterior half sprocket and located on an exterior side of the support frame. The drive sprocket transmits a rotational force to an endless track to rotate the endless track and propel the outdoor power equipment.

TRACK SLIDER DESIGN FOR AN ELECTRIC ROPE SHOVEL

A transition track slider has a hollow body including a first side surface, a second side surface, a bottom surface at least partially interposed between the first side surface and the second side surface, and that also defines a cavity. A front surface with a bullet nose configuration connects the first side surface to the second side surface, and to the bottom surface, while a rear surface connects the first side surface to the second side surface, and to the bottom surface. A top surface extends from the rear surface toward the front surface.

TRACK SYSTEM

Track system to be mounted on a vehicle in place of a rotatable OEM tire/wheel assembly, including: A frame. A drive wheel is rotatably mounted on the frame, operatively connectable to the drive shaft of the vehicle, and has a diameter of between 65% and 100% of the OEM tire diameter. Leading and trailing idler wheel assemblies are mounted on the frame. An endless track having an inner surface is disposed around the drive wheel, the leading and trailing idler wheel assemblies. The endless track has an unsupported portion between the drive wheel and one of the leading and trailing idler wheel assemblies. The unsupported portion has a length and a center. The unsupported portion deflects a distance of between 8% and 12% of its length on application of a 25-lb. force at its center.

TRACK SLIDER DESIGN FOR AN ELECTRIC ROPE SHOVEL

A track slider mounting plate kit includes a first shark fin configured mounting plate including a first bottom mounting surface, a first beveled surface extending from the first bottom mounting surface, and a second beveled surface that extends from the first beveled surface, forming a first oblique angle with the second beveled surface. A track slider is attached to the first shark fin configured mounting plate that has a top surface extending from the rear surface toward the front surface defining a top surface radius of curvature ranging from 2200 mm to 2600 mm.

SUPPORT STRUCTURE, TRACK SYSTEM HAVING A SUPPORT STRUCTURE, GUIDE RAIL AND TRACK SYSTEM HAVING A SUPPORT STRUCTURE AND A GUIDE RAIL
20230069424 · 2023-03-02 ·

A support structure, which includes an axle assembly, first and second biasing components and first and second connectors, configured to connect support wheel assemblies to a frame of a track system is disclosed. The first and second connectors and the first and second biasing components are configured to pivotally connect the axle assembly, which includes an axle and a longitudinal member, to the frame. The first and second biasing components bias the axle assembly toward a first configuration. The first biasing component is in contact with a first end portion of the longitudinal member, and the second biasing component is in contact with a second end portion of the longitudinal member. The first and second connectors are removably connectable to the frame and are respectively connected to the first and second biasing components. Support structures, guide rails and track systems having guide rails are also disclosed.

LOCK PLATE CONFIGURED TO RETAIN WEAR RUNNER

A lock plate configured to retain a wear runner against a support may include a first retainer arm, a second retainer arm, and a web coupling the first and second retainer arms to one another. The first retainer arm, the second retainer arm, and the web may define a recess configured to receive a retainer pin associated with the wear runner. The first retainer arm and the second retainer arm may have a thickness configured to fit within a groove extending at least partially around the retainer pin, such that the lock plate holds the wear runner against the support on a side of the support opposite the lock plate.

A rim includes a wall, a first annular projection, and a second annular projection. The wall has a first end and a second end. The first end includes a first opening, and the second end includes a second opening that communicates with the first opening to define a bore for a shaft of a track roller. The first annular projection and the second annular projection, which are configured to engage a track, extend radially from the wall. The first annular projection includes a first flange that is configured to constrain movement of the track in a first axial direction. The first flange includes a plurality of notches. The second annular projection includes a second flange that is configured to constrain movement of the track in a second axial direction that is opposite to the first axial direction.

Tapered short tunnel for a snowmobile

A tapered short tunnel for use on a tracked vehicle, such as a snowmobile. The tapered short tunnel has a tapered distal end having a width less than a width of an endless track used on the snowmobile. This tapered portion reduces the snowmobile from catching or grabbing snow in a snow trench, thereby enabling the snowmobile to traverse deeper snow.
