CARTRIDGE ASSEMBLY WITH A FLEXIBLE THRUST RING ASSEMBLY FOR A TRACK CHAIN
A flexible thrust washer member comprises a body including an annular skirt portion that defines an outer diameter and a central aperture having an inner diameter, wherein the body has a conical configuration that defines a conical axis and a radial direction and the outer diameter of the annular skirt portion is spaced away from the central aperture along the conical axis and along the radial direction, defining an axial dimension and a radial dimension and the body defines at least two slits that separate the annular skirt portion into a plurality of fingers.
Track joint assembly in machine track having pin stop for cartridge pin retention
A track joint assembly includes a first track shoe and a second track shoe, and a cartridge pin coupling together the first track shoe and the second track shoe. A sealed and lubricated track joint is formed by pin lugs on the first and the second track shoes, a cartridge pin, a pin retainer, a pin bore extending through pin lugs of the coupled-together track shoes, and a pin stop located in one of the pin lugs to inhibit displacement of the cartridge pin.
Sleeve bearing having a flared end
A cartridge pin assembly in a track chain assembly includes a sleeve bearing having a flared end.
Lip seal
A seal includes an annular body defining a radial direction, an axial direction, and a circumferential direction; and further defines a cross-sectional area including a perimeter. The perimeter may comprise a first axial extremity, a second axial extremity, an outer radial extremity, and an inner radial extremity. The perimeter may include a first axial extremity defining surface and a second axial extremity defining surface, a first concave arcuate surface interposed between the inner radial extremity and the second axial extremity, and a second concave arcuate surface interposed between the outer radial extremity and the second axial extremity.
RADIAL SEAL FOR A TRACK LINK JOINT
In some implementations, a bushing may include a cylindrical body having an at least partially annular configuration. The cylindrical body may define a radial axis and may include an inner circumferential surface, an outer circumferential surface, a first end, and a second end. The inner circumferential surface may be configured to rotatably receive an outer surface of a pin of a track link joint. The outer circumferential surface may be configured to be rotatably received within a first counterbore of a first track link of the track link joint. The bushing may include at least one groove extending radially into the outer circumferential surface around the radial axis. The at least one groove may be configured to receive a first seal of the track link joint. The first seal may form a first radial seal between the outer circumferential surface and a first inner surface of the first counterbore.
SLEEVE BEARING HAVING A FLARED END
A cartridge pin assembly in a track chain assembly includes a sleeve bearing having a flared end.
Link assembly and seal assembly
A link assembly includes a first member, a second member opposing the first member and being rotatable around a rotating shaft, a seal housing formed between the first and second members, and a seal assembly disposed inside the seal housing. The seal assembly has a seal ring and a load ring. The seal ring has a support ring and a lip ring. The seal ring is disposed between the first member and the load ring. The load ring is disposed between the seal ring and the second member. The lip ring abuts the load ring. The lip ring has a first lip part that abuts the first member and protrudes in an axial direction of the rotating shaft, and a second lip part that abuts the second member and protrudes in a radial direction perpendicular to the rotating shaft.
Rotatable element in machine track having thrust washer stack for stepping down relative speeds
A sealed and lubricated rotatable track engaging element includes a roller and a roller shaft extending through the roller to support the roller for rotation about a major axis. A first thrust surface is fixed relative to the roller, and a second thrust surface is fixed relative to the roller shaft. A seal cavity extends between the roller and the roller shaft and is formed in part by each of the first thrust surface and the second thrust surface, and a thrust washer stack is within the seal cavity and trapped between the first thrust surface and the second thrust surface. The thrust washer stack includes an inner thrust washer contacting the roller to rotate at a first fractional speed of a speed of rotation of the roller, and an outer thrust washer contacting the inner thrust washer and the collar to rotate at a second fractional speed that is less than the first fractional speed.
Unitary link and track chain assembly of a work vehicle
In accordance with the present disclosure, a track chain assembly for a work vehicle may comprise of a link set, a unitary link, and a bushing assembly. The link set may include a first link and a second link. The unitary link may include a single link. The bushing assembly may couple the link set and the unitary link for relative rotation between the link set and the unitary link.
Fluid-filled track wheel for improved movement of an object across a non-planar area
A track wheel for moving an object across a surface having a non-planar obstruction to allow smoother, easier and safer movement of the object over the obstruction. The track wheel has a track frame, a first wheel assembly, a second wheel assembly and a fluid-filled track assembly. The track frame interconnects the two wheel assemblies. The track assembly encircles the two wheel assemblies and frame in an endless loop manner. A mounting assembly connects the track frame to the object. The track assembly has a track link assembly and a pair of dampener tubes in the track link assembly. The track assembly passes into and out of a shield of the wheel assemblies that cleans the track assembly.
