The track roller rim may include an outer member including an annular configuration defining an axis of rotation, a radial direction, and a circumferential direction disposed about the axis of rotation, where the outer member has an inner circumference, an outer circumference, a first axial end disposed along the axis of rotation, and a second axial end disposed along the axis of rotation. The track roller rim may include a first annular inner member, where the first annular inner member is interference fit within the inner circumference of the outer member at the first axial end. The track roller rim may include a second annular inner member, where the second annular inner member is interference fit within the inner circumference of the outer member at the second axial end.

Sprocket for mobile robot track drive

A novel sprocket for a track drive of a mobile robot may allow for some deformation of the track so that the track better conforms to the surface on which the robot travels. The novel sprocket also may prevent excessive track deformation or deflection that may result in undesirable de-tracking.

An idler for an undercarriage system in a track-type machine includes an idler rim having an outer rim surface extending around an idler axis of rotation, and a plurality of one-piece wear pads attached to the idler rim upon a first axial side and a second axial side of a radially projecting central guide flange. Each of the one-piece wear pads includes a sacrificial head supported on the outer rim surface, and having a base in interlocking engagement with the idler rim.

IDLER FOR UNDERCARRIAGE SYSTEM HAVING SACRIFICIAL WEAR RINGS AND WEAR RING FOR SAME

An idler for an undercarriage system in a track-type machine includes an idler rim having an outer rim surface extending circumferentially around an idler axis of rotation and forming a centrally located guide flange. The outer rim surface further forms a first ring channel and a second ring channel upon a first axial side and a second axial side of the centrally located guide flange, respectively. A first sacrificial wear ring is seated in the first ring channel and a second sacrificial wear ring is seated in the second ring channel.

Idler weight for drive track assembly

A work machine may include an drive frame, a drivable track coupled to the drive frame, an idler wheel coupled to the drive frame to facilitate movement of the drivable track, and a wheel weight coupleable to the idler wheel. The wheel weight may be coupled to the idler wheel without removing the idler wheel from the drive frame.

The first retainer is press-fitted to the outer periphery of a shaft and abuts on a first end face of the roller shell. The second retainer is press-fitted to the outer periphery of the shaft and abuts on a second end face of the roller shell. The first holding ring is attached to the outer periphery of the shaft on the outside of the first retainer and fixes the first retainer. The second holding ring is attached to the outer periphery of the shaft and fixes the second retainer.

BOLT-ON FLAT IDLER SEGMENTS

An idler assembly includes a cylindrical hub defining an axis of rotation, a radial direction, and a circumferential direction. A stepped circumferential surface of the cylindrical hub has a first radially inner face, and a radially outer cylindrical face. Mounting holes extend radially into the radially outer cylindrical face. A first idler segment is attached to the cylindrical hub, and includes an at least partially flat body having a first planar chain link contacting surface. The cylindrical hub has a first set of metallurgical properties that is different than the second set of metallurgical properties of the first idler segment.

Track assembly for an off-road vehicle

A track assembly for traction of a tracked vehicle, such as an agricultural vehicle, an industrial vehicle (e.g., a construction vehicle) or a military vehicle, is provided. The track assembly comprises a plurality of wheels which comprises a drive wheel and a plurality of roller wheels, as well as an elastomeric endless track disposed around the plurality of wheels for engaging the ground. A roller wheel may comprise a wheel body and a covering on the wheel body. The covering may comprise a lateral portion dimensioned to contact a drive/guide lug of the track. The roller wheels and the track may implement a self-alignment system of the track assembly. The track assembly may comprise a cooling system for transferring heat away from a roller wheel. The track assembly may comprise a lateral motion mechanism allowing a roller wheel to move widthwise in response to a side load.
