STRADDLED VEHICLE
A straddled vehicle, including a head pipe, a main frame extending rearward from the head pipe, a fuel tank supported by the main frame, an air cleaner arranged in front of the fuel tank, a side cover formed on a lateral side of the fuel tank to partially overlap the fuel tank in a side view of the straddled vehicle, an intake port provided at an edge of the side cover and opening toward an outside of the straddled vehicle, an air cleaner chamber in which at least a part of the air cleaner is arranged, and an intake passage including a first passage between the side cover and a side surface of the fuel tank, the intake port communicating with the air cleaner chamber through the intake passage. The side cover includes a front portion located forward of the air cleaner, and the intake port is arranged rearward of the air cleaner.
LOCKING CLAMP FOR SECURING A BICYCLE SEAT POST TO A BICYCLE FRAME
The present invention features a locking clamp capable of securing a post into a bicycle frame such that only a user can remove the locking clamp. The locking clamp may comprise a lock capable of accepting an unlocking method that only the user may utilize, ensuring security of the post to protect items stored in the post (e.g. a bicycle repair assembly). The unlocking method may depend on the type of lock implemented. The locking clamp may further comprise a first jaw extending from the lock, a second jaw extending from the lock, and a screw connecting the first jaw and the second jaw. Actuating the screw may move the first jaw closer to the second jaw thus tightening the locking clamp around an interface of the post and the bicycle frame.
SEAT POST
The present disclosure relates to a seat post for a bicycle, a moped or the like, comprising a seat post tube, wherein said seat post tube comprises an opening member that is configured to allow a closure element of the seat post to perform a movement, by means of which a region inside the seat post tube can be accessed in order to insert or remove an elongated object, wherein said seat post tube comprises an upper portion and a lower portion opposite the upper portion, said upper portion being configured to be connected to a seat clamping device and/or to a seat, and wherein the closure element is preferably provided in the region of the upper portion. The present disclosure furthermore relates to a frame for a bicycle, a moped or the like, a use of a seat post or frame according to the disclosure, a folding lock, a locking system and a lock/handlebar combination.
Bike Lock
The present invention relates to a bicycle lock comprising a lock body and set of arms. The lock body is mountable on the seat of the bicycle. The arms extend from the lock body and terminate in locking surfaces. The locking surfaces are secured together by a locking element. The lock body and arms comprise an integrated textile fabric and steel cable structure simultaneously resistant to common sawing and slicing attacks. The lock body secures the bicycle seat while the arms are threaded through and around bicycle components to attach to a stationary object.
ANTI-THEFT BICYCLE LOCKING DEVICE
Anti-theft bicycle locking device, wherein the bicycle has a saddle column (4), a saddle (3) and a rear frame tube (2), the device has a foldable locking loop that can be wrapped around the bicycle and a stationary object, the loop comprises a plurality of 5 loop portions of which each has a predetermined length, a first loop portion is constituted by the saddle column (4) being a hollow tube, and a second loop portion (8, 16, 20) that has an outer diameter smaller than the diameter of the saddle column (4) and has a first end slidably connected to and moving in the interior of the saddle column (4), a closure member (11, 17) in the remote end part of the saddle column (4)10 preventing the removal of the second loop portion (16, 20) from the saddle column (4), a lock (7) is attached to an upper portion of the saddle column (4) close to the saddle (3), and a lock part (9) is attached to a free end of the last portion of the loop, the lock part (9) can be fitted in and engaged by the lock (7), and said loop portions can be pushed to take a compressed state and pulled to form the loop, an in compressed15 state said loop portions except for the saddle column (4) are positioned in the hollow inner space of the saddle column (4) and the rear tube (2), and the loop comprises at least one further loop portion attached to the remote end of the second loop portion (8, 16, 20), and the loop has a minimum length (LL) in fully unfolded state which is at least as long as the combined length of the rear frame tube (LFT) and twice the length20 of the saddle column (LSC), in equation: LL>LFT+2*LSC.
BICYCLE SEAT ASSEMBLY
A bicycle seat assembly includes a mounting platform that includes one or more bicycle seat post attachment members and a receiving member for receiving thereon or therein a portion of a bicycle seat. The mounting platform includes a quick release locking mechanism, which includes a lever attached to a bolt, which is assembled to a locking lug arranged to move and lock against a locking surface formed in the portion of the bicycle seat.
Electric saddle type vehicle with storage areas
A motorcycle, or saddle type vehicle, is disclosed that may have at least one seat and at least two wheels, at least one hub electric motor. A large dry storage compartment may be positioned between the rider and steering mount. A rechargeable battery and battery management system may be located below the storage compartment in a battery housing, where the battery housing may be a structural component of the chassis. A rear electronics housing may be attached to and located behind the battery housing, and may contain major electrical components such as electric motor controller and contactors. Two structural members, or frame side rails, may form sides of the storage compartment and extend between the electronics housing and steering mount. The electronics housing may also connect to the battery housing such that the battery housing reinforces and strengthens the chassis, or structural frame. A secondary storage compartment may be located under the seat. Additionally, the storage compartments may have electronic locking mechanisms that are activated via a wireless connection to a remote electronic device.
Seat Preclusion to Avoid Unauthorized Mounting on a Two-Wheeler
A two-wheeler mount preclusion apparatus comprising: a saddle-post block coupling a saddle with a post; a point of articulation disposed on the block; and a tool of manipulation at the point of articulation of said block, when manipulated, allowing for at least a degree of rotation of the saddle, wherein the rotation of the saddle renders the two-wheeler into a mount-precluded state.
