BICYCLE FRAME, ELECTRIC BICYCLE AND ENERGY ACCUMULATOR
A bicycle frame is disclosed, having at least one frame portion which is configured for the removable mounting of at least one separate energy storage device, in particular a battery pack. According to the invention, the frame portion configured for the removable mounting of the energy storage device has an asymmetric cross section with respect to a frame centre plane. An electric bicycle according to the invention has a frame portion which is configured for the removable mounting of at least one separate energy storage device, the frame portion having an asymmetric cross section with respect to a frame centre plane. Furthermore, an energy storage device is disclosed, having an asymmetric cross section with respect to an energy storage device centre plane.
THREE-WHEELED ELECTRIC VEHICLE
A three-wheeled electric vehicle in accordance with EU vehicle classification L2e-U, which has two electric-motor-driven rear wheels, each of which is driven by one wheel-hub motor. A hydraulically actuatable rear-wheel disc-brake system is mounted on each rear wheel which brake system is also fitted with an integrated electromechanical parking brake, the activation of which shifts each rear wheel into a parking-brake mode in which wheel rotation is prevented. In a rear portion, the vehicle body forms a support structure on which an optionally present, exchangeable transport container can be supported and secured with the aid of a quick-release fastening system. The quick-release fastening system includes one or more connection device(s), wherein each connection device includes a bar that protrudes from a bottom wall of the transport container; and a locking device, which is permanently attached to the support structure, is fitted with a movable blocking element.
Superefficient Box Beam Bicycle Structure
A superefficient box beam bicycle structure (SBBBS) having a box section, a right triangular section and a left triangular section. The right and left triangular sections are either integral with the box structure, or the triangular sections are attached to the box structure by riveting, bonding or welding. The box structure is preferably made of a sheet material and the parts that comprise the box structure are attached together by riveting, bonding or welding. The SBBBS interfaces with conventional bicycle components to function as a lightweight, strong bicycle frame. Additionally, the SBBBS can be manufactured as a one-piece design, or can utilize a hybrid construction design with an internal structure and reinforcing members at areas of high stress.
Adjustable compliance bicycle
A bicycle includes a lower frame member and an upper frame member connected to a head tube. The lower frame member includes a down tube, a bottom bracket, and chain stays. The upper frame member includes a top tube, seat stays, and a passage formed in part by a first side wall and a second side wall. The first and second side walls include a first and second openings, respectively. A seat tube extends in an upward direction from the bottom bracket and through the passage. The seat tube includes an opening that extends laterally therethrough. A passive pivot assembly secures the seat tube within the passage, and includes a guide sleeve that extends through the first opening, through the opening in the seat tube, and through the second opening. One or more fasteners secure the guide sleeve to the upper frame member.
Composite laminate with reinforcement of metal mesh
A composite laminate includes two composite layers, at least one metal mesh of high strength and high capability of absorbing impact energy, and multiple unidirectional fibrous layers, wherein the metal mesh and the unidirectional fibrous layers are disposed between the two composite layers. By adding the metal mesh to a composite laminate for making parts, such as front forks, frames, and seat posts of bicycles, an interlocking structure can be formed in the composite laminate. Due to the metal mesh having high strength and toughness, a part being formed of the composite laminate will have a high strength and an enhanced impact resisting capacity and thus can be prevented from brittle fracture. Furthermore, with the metal-reinforced composite laminate, a failure of the part can be warned at an earlier time, so that the part can be prevented from catastrophic damages, thus ensuring safety for users.

Tunnel stud protection system for a snowmobile
A snowmobile tunnel stop protection system to provide protection to a tunnel from a studded endless track used on a snowmobile. The tunnel includes at least one slot formed into an undersurface of the tunnel. At least one protection rail extends from a first end to a second end and includes a plurality of holes passing through the protection rail. A plurality of fasteners are used to attach the protection rail to the tunnel where each fastener has a first fastener portion that passes through the at least one slot. Each fastener includes the first fastener portion that passes through one of the plurality of holes and a second fastener portion that couples to the corresponding first fastener portion to couple the protection rail to the slot formed in the tunnel.
