DIRECT-DRIVE BICYCLE
20230051165 · 2023-02-16 ·

A direct-drive bicycle include a bicycle body, which extends to include a front fork. A front wheel is pivotally provided at a tube fixedly provided at the terminal end of the front fork. A shaft passes through the tube. A rotary disc is connected to the shaft. A pedal is provided at each end of the shaft through a connecting rod. A transmission assembly include a rotatable spline shaft provided, a friction wheel slidably provided at the spline shaft to press against a friction disc provided at a side of the front wheel, and a rotating wheel fixed to the spline shaft. The rotary disc is located between the spline shaft and the front wheel, and drives the rotating wheel to change the position where the friction wheel presses against the friction disc. Thus, the front wheel can be directly driven and provides continuously variable transmission.

LIMITING STRUCTURE OF BICYCLE

A limiting structure of a bicycle includes a handlebar, a rotating member, a front fork, and a frame. The frame is provided with a mounting portion. The handlebar is partially accommodated at one end of the mounting portion, and the front fork is partially accommodated at the other end of the mounting portion. The rotating member is accommodated in the mounting portion. Two ends of the rotating member are movably connected to the front fork and the handlebar, respectively. An annular movable groove is formed between an inner wall of the mounting portion and the rotating member. The front fork is provided with a first limiting block, and the first limiting block is movably accommodated in the movable groove. The frame further includes a second limiting block, and the second limiting block is fixedly accommodated in the movable groove.

A three-dimensional folding frame is disclosed including a first pivot portion for providing a front folding wheel frame with movable folding; a second pivot portion for providing a rear folding wheel frame with movable folding; a third pivot portion for providing a handlebar vertical rod with rotatable folding; and a fourth pivot portion for providing a crossbar with rotatable folding. The crossbar includes a first folding arm and a second folding arm; the first folding arm is movably connected to the front folding wheel frame by means of the first pivot portion; the front folding wheel frame rotates about the first pivot portion and can move relative to the first folding arm; the second folding arm is movably connected to the rear folding wheel frame by means of the second pivot portion.

Non-uniform steerer tube or fork leg

A non-uniform steerer tube. The non-uniform steerer tubes includes an axis-symmetric outer surface and a non axis-symmetric inner surface. The axis-symmetric outer surface and the non axis-symmetric inner surface defining a wall thickness therebetween. The wall thickness varying along an axial length of the non-uniform steerer tube.

MOBILITY AND EXERCISE VEHICLE

A pump-action mobility and exercise device may include a pumping arm attached to a foot slide. As the pumping arm is actuated, the foot slide moves forward and rearward in response to the pumping action. The foot slide can also be moved by a user's foot movement. The foot slide may be connected to a drive mechanism that selectively engages a chain or belt that loops around a drive wheel arranged on an axle of the vehicle. When the drive mechanism catches and moves the belt or chain in a forward direction, the axle rotates in a forward direction to drive the vehicle forward. A reverse mechanism may also be provided that selectively causes the drive mechanism to catch and drive the belt or chain in an opposite direction.

Pivot joint and vehicles that employ a pivot joint

In an aspect, a pivot joint for a collapsing foot-deck-based vehicle is described, comprising a foot deck, at least two wheels coupled to the foot deck, and a handlebar assembly coupled to the foot deck via a locking pivot joint, also referred to as a locking swivel joint, the handlebar assembly comprising at least one handle, the locking pivot joint having a pivot axis that is generally unparallel with a horizontal plane defined by the lowermost surfaces of the at least two wheels, the handlebar assembly being selectively pivotable via the locking pivot joint between a riding configuration in which the handle is generally distal from the foot deck and a collapsed configuration in which the handle is generally proximal to the foot deck.
