TOW BAR ARRANGEMENT FOR CONTROL OF A SELF-PROPELLED TRAILER
Tow bar arrangement (100) for interconnection of a pulling vehicle (10) and a pulled trailer (20). The arrangement (100) comprises a control device (110) with a force sensor (111) arranged to sense an instantaneous relative force between vehicle (10) and trailer (20). The control device (110) is arranged to produce a control signal for an electric motor (21) arranged to propel the trailer (20) so that a motor force counter-acts said measured force. The invention is characterised in that the control device (110) is arranged to a first time series of force measurements, in that the control device (110) comprises a low-pass filter (112) producing a second low-pass filtered time series, and in that a regulator (113) is ar-ranged to regulate said second time series to produce said control signal.
MOVING BODY
A moving body includes: a vehicle which includes a front wheel and rear wheels and which a passenger gets on; an unmanned carrier vehicle which is arranged at the back side of the vehicle, and includes a wheel and a driving unit which drives the wheel; and a coupler which couples the vehicle and the unmanned carrier vehicle. The coupler includes a biasing mechanism which biases a rear part of the vehicle toward an upper side of the vehicle, the biasing mechanism includes a first elastic member; when the passenger is on the vehicle, the first elastic member is deformed by the weight of the passenger to place the rear wheels in contact with a road surface, and when the passenger is not on the vehicle, the rear wheels are separated from the road surface by the elastic force of the first elastic member.
AN APPARATUS AND SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING A SECONDARY POWER SOURCE FOR AN ELECTRIC VEHICLE
An apparatus for providing a secondary power source for an electric vehicle, the apparatus attachable to the electric vehicle and having at least one secondary electrical power storage unit for storing electrical energy for delivery to the electric vehicle as required to replace the primary power source, a power connection assembly to connect the at least one secondary power source to the electric vehicle and a control system to control supply to the electric vehicle.
Towing element assembly, a locking mechanism assembly and a flexible towing device for single-track vehicles comprising such a towing element assembly and such a locking mechanism assembly
A flexible towing device for single-track vehicles, comprising a towing element adapted for mounting on a first of single-track vehicles and comprising a flexible towing element and a lock attached to one of the ends of the flexible towing element, a locking mechanism assembly adapted for mounting on a second of single-track vehicles and comprising a first portion of the body comprising a half-seat, a second portion of the body comprising a half-seat, which half-seats of the first and the second portion, respectively, form a seat for detachable coupling of the lock of the towing element assembly, wherein the lock of the towing element assembly is releasable from the seat of the locking element mechanism assembly following applying a release force to the lock. A towing element assembly and a locking mechanism assembly for use in the flexible towing device for single-track vehicles.
Connecting straps for sports activities
Connecting straps for use for example in sports activities and methods of attaching the connecting straps. In one example, a connection strap system includes a connecting strap and a peg strap configured to be attached to the connecting strap. An example of the connecting strap includes (a) a sleeve of webbing having a first end and a second end and having a loop at each end, each loop having a base and a free end, (b) disposed within the sleeve of webbing, a band of elastic material extending in a continuous loop, and (c) an attachment strap, adjacent each loop, configured to secure a portion of the band to the webbing at the base of each loop. In some cases, the band has a solid, polygonal cross-sectional shape. The peg strap has a peg-loop at each end.
