Brake hydraulic pressure controller
It is possible to prevent occurrence of a resonance phenomenon of a hydraulic unit and to improve attachability/detachability of the hydraulic unit to/from a bracket. A support section (42, 43) includes: a fixture member (80) that is fixed to a housing (30) for a hydraulic unit (10); and a vibration absorbing member (75) that is interposed between the housing (30) and a bracket (41) and has a through-hole (75a) through which the fixture member (80) passes. The vibration absorbing member (75) includes two vibration absorbing members (75B, 75C, 75D) having different rebound resilience from each other. In a state where the vibration absorbing member (75) is partially accommodated in a recessed section (47) of the bracket (41), the vibration absorbing member (75) is held between the housing (30) and the bracket (41).
Bicycle head and bicycle shift control box
A bicycle head is configured to be mounted on a bicycle frame. The bicycle head includes a vertical tube, a stem, a handlebar, a first brake lever, and a shift control box. One end of the stem is mounted on the vertical tube. The handlebar is fixed to another end of the stem. The first brake lever assembly is mounted on the handlebar. The first brake lever assembly includes a main body, a brake assembly, a shift switch, and a battery. The brake assembly and the battery are disposed on the main body, and the shift switch is disposed on the brake assembly. The shift control box is disposed on one of the vertical tube, the stem, and the handlebar and electrically connected to the battery and the shift switch.
DYNAMIC FORCE-DISTRIBUTING DEVICE AND ITS APPLICATION TO THE SINGLE-HANDED BRAKING DEVICE OF FRONT AND REAR WHEELS
The invention relates to a dynamic force-distributing device. The dynamic force-distributing device has a dynamic three-stage force distribution function, and is especially suitable for being applied to a single-handed braking device of various front and rear wheel form vehicles. The whole braking process can show three-stage functional characteristics such as safety, stability, reliability, fast stopping and the like, so that the problem of accidents caused by improper brake operation is avoided.
AN ANTI-LOCK BRAKING UNIT FOR A HYDRAULIC BRAKING SYSTEM, PARTICULARLY OF A BICYCLE
An anti-lock braking unit is provided which has a single actuating solenoid acting on a piston of an associated valve unit. The actuating solenoid moves the piston within a primary hydraulic chamber in fluid communication with a brake calliper. A movement of the piston closes a bypass passage formed within the valve unit, that connects a master cylinder to the brake calliper. By closing the bypass passage, the build-up of pressure acting on the calliper is stopped. Simultaneously, the movement of the piston opens an outflow passage within the valve unit, allowing a brake fluid to vent from the primary hydraulic chamber into an expansion chamber. The expansion chamber provides an increased volume for brake fluid contained between the valve unit and the brake calliper, thereby decreasing pressure of the brake fluid acting on the calliper.
CONTROL DEVICE FOR A BICYCLE
A control device mountable to a handlebar of a bicycle includes a housing, a lever coupled to and pivotable relative to the housing, and a master cylinder portion supported by the housing. The master cylinder portion has a fluid cylinder. The fluid cylinder has a first end and a second end opposite the first end with a cylindrical wall therebetween. An opening extends through the master cylinder portion, from the first end to the second end. The control device also includes a plug removably connected to the master cylinder portion via the opening at the first end of the fluid cylinder, and a piston assembly supported by the housing. The piston assembly is movable relative to the master cylinder portion. The housing is made of a first material, and the master cylinder portion is made of a second material. The second material is different than the first material.
Hydraulic tank for a bicycle
A hydraulic tank has an elastically deformable membrane defining a variable compensation chamber within the tank. The membrane has a fixed perimeter portion and a thrusting portion. A perimeter inlet portion is arranged between the perimeter fixing portion and the thrusting portion. In the condition of minimum expansion of the compensation chamber, the thrusting portion is completely arranged between the perimeter inlet portion of the membrane and a wall of the tank.
FLAT MOUNT BRAKE CALIPER FOR BICYCLE
Flat mount brake calipers for bicycles are described herein. An example flat mount brake caliper includes a caliper body defining a first piston cylinder and a second piston cylinder. The caliper body has a flat mount surface with a first threaded bore and a second threaded bore extending into the flat mount surface. The first and second threaded bores are configured to receive threaded fasteners to couple the caliper body to a frame of the bicycle. The first and second piston cylinders are arranged such that projections of the first and second threaded bores do not intersect the first or second piston cylinders. The flat mount brake caliper also includes a brake pad and first and second pistons disposed in the respective first and second piston cylinders to move the brake pad relative to the caliper body.
Hydraulic operating device for human-powered vehicle
A hydraulic operating device is provided for a human-powered vehicle. The hydraulic operating device basically includes a base, an operating member and a handlebar mounting structure. The base includes a cylinder bore defining a cylinder axis. The operating member is pivotally coupled to the base about a pivot axis between a rest position and an operated position. The handlebar mounting structure is coupled to the base. The handlebar mounting structure defines a handlebar mounting axis that extends linearly along a handlebar in a mounted state. The cylinder axis is inclined towards the handlebar mounting axis as the cylinder bore extends away from the pivot axis as viewed in a pivot axis direction parallel to the pivot axis. The pivot axis is located in an area between the cylinder axis and the handlebar mounting axis as viewed in the pivot axis direction.
HYDRAULIC BRAKE DISTRIBUTOR FOR A TWO-WHEELED VEHICLE
A hydraulic brake distributor for a two-wheeled vehicle has an outer body that forms an internal cavity accommodating two floating piston valve elements. The two floating piston valve elements are axially movable and mutually coupled in a telescopic manner. One of the two floating piston valve elements has an internal through-channel.
A SUPPORT DEVICE FOR SUPPORTING A DISC BRAKE CALIPER AND AN ABS SYSTEM OF A BICYCLE
A disc brake caliper and the body of an ABS system are mounted on a fork arm of a bicycle by means of a single adapter support that can be removably connected to the fork arm, and configured to removably support both the caliper body of the disc brake and the ABS system.
