An objective of the present invention is to provide an underwater ship attachment that is used to divert air, debris, and pressure fluctuations. More specifically, the present invention discloses an anti-cavitation device (such as a diverter device) for flat-bottom boats. The air diverter has been developed to regain, enhance, and protect the operational function of propulsive and steering equipment among displacement and semi displacement hulls. As with protect items such as bottom mounted depth sounder transducers, intakes for engine or general cooling, sea chests, keel coolers, zincs, and all other underwater mounted items susceptible to air ingestion, air disturbance malfunction or debris impact.

Embodiments described herein provide a collapsible high-performance multi-hulled watercraft which may be easily assembled/disassembled and comprised of a plurality of symmetrically shaped planar hulls which are laterally spaced and provide a shallow water draft; a deck platform releasably attached and overlying the plurality of symmetrically shaped planar hulls having at least one seat, marine radar, translucent protective shield and skid plate; and at least one propulsion unit which may releasably attached to the platform and which extends below the water line to enable high performance stability and maneuverability to the vessel.

High speed ship
10099750 · 2018-10-16 ·

A high speed ship configuration for achieving a plane state efficiently, with threshold power available in fully loaded cargo ship. The system may include a boost phase assist structure to assist in the achievement of a plane state. The boost assist may be external or internal to the ship. The boost assist may provide power and/or lift assist. One embodiment may include a launch rail. In one embodiment, the configuration includes a retractable lateral wing structure disposed toward the stern of the vessel and containing auxiliary power providing thrust for the vessel. The wing structure is deployed during an initial boost phase acceleration and may be stowed in the vessel once the vessel achieves full plane operation. In one embodiment, the boost power structure may include propeller drive, paddle drive, or waterjet drive. The boost power structure may provide buoyancy and/or hydrodynamic trim to assist in achieving plane state operation.
