FLOATING PLATFORM FOR SUPPORTING GENERATORS OF POWER DERIVED FROM THE WIND AND/OR WAVES AND/OR OCEAN CURRENTS
A floating platform for supporting generators of power derived from the wind, the waves and ocean currents, adopting an approximately disc-shaped general configuration with a circular or polygonal perimeter, which optimises its size and therefore minimises substantially its weight and likewise its production costs, as well as other associated complexities; which eliminates the possibility of entering into resonance with the movement of the ocean waves and thus not damaging the equipment installed, not overturning, and not surpassing the maximum list acceptable for wind power generators, nor wave power generators, nor ocean current generators; and which withstands the waves of the greatest size possible, all due to a ratio between its depth or height (13) and the diameter (14) thereof of between 0.06 and 0.35.
FLOATER STRUCTURE
The present invention provides a floater structure. The floater structure is used for bearing the tower of wind turbines, especially for the offshore wind turbines. The floater structure is constructed via a main column, two off columns and a pontoon. The off column is connected to any other main column and the off column via a horizontal bracing, and the pontoon is connected to the main column and the two off columns. The shape of the pontoon is triangle, and three corners of the triangle are round corners, polygon corners, or the combinations thereof.
BUOYANT STRUCTURE FOR RECEIVING A TOWER OF A WIND TURBINE IN OFFSHORE DEPLOYMENT
Disclosed herein is a buoyant structure for offshore deployment. The buoyant structure comprises a first deck having a first channel through the first deck; a second deck having a second channel through the second deck, wherein the first deck and second deck are coupled to each other and arranged spaced apart from each other; and a plurality of floatable substructures coupled to and around at least one of the first deck and the second deck, the plurality of floatable substructures arranged spaced apart from one another, wherein the first channel and the second channel are aligned to receive at least a portion of a tower of a wind turbine.
Offshore steel structure with integral anti-scour and foundation skirts
An offshore structure includes an adjustably buoyant hull including a plurality of vertical columns and a plurality of horizontal pontoons. Each pontoon extends between a pair of the columns. The adjustably buoyant hull is configured to receive a topside. Each column has a central axis, an upper end, and a lower end. Each pontoon has a longitudinal axis, a first end coupled to one of the columns, and a second end coupled to another one of the columns. The offshore structure also includes a foundation assembly attached to a lower end of the hull. The foundation assembly includes a column skirt extending downward from the lower end of each column and a pontoon skirt extending downward from a bottom surface of each pontoon.
Floating wind turbine platform structure with optimized transfer of wave and wind loads
A structure of a floating, semi-submersible wind turbine platform is provided. The floating wind turbine platform includes three elongate stabilizing columns, each having a top end, a keel end, and an outer shell containing an inner shaft. Each stabilizing column further includes a water entrapment plate at its keel cantilevered in a plane perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the stabilizing column. The floating wind turbine platform also includes three truss members, each truss member including two horizontal main tubular members and two diagonal tubular members. The truss members connect the stabilizing columns to form a triangular cross-section. An elongate wind turbine tower is disposed over the top end of one of the three stabilizing columns such that the longitudinal axis of the tower is substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the stabilizing column.
SEMI-SUBMERSIBLE WITH TRIANGULAR COLUMNS
According to the invention a semi-submersible vessel including a semi-submersible platform body is provided. The semi-submersible platform body is adapted to float in a body of water wherein the platform body comprising a plurality of pontoons arranged together to form a triangular structure, a plurality of columns having a lower portion and an upper portion, the columns extending outwardly from each corner of the triangular structure, wherein each column is triangular. Further, the semi-submersible vessel includes a deck supported by the upper portion of the columns.
Floating offshore wind power generation facility
A floating offshore wind power generation facility includes a floating body, a mooring cable, a tower, and a windmill installed at the top of the tower, the windmill including a nacelle and a plurality of blades. The rotation axis of the windmill has a predetermined upward angle to avoid contact between the blades and the tower, and the windmill is of a downwind type in which the blades are attached to the leeward side of the nacelle and installed with the back surfaces of the blades facing windward, and the mooring point of the mooring cable to the floating body is set at a position below the surface of the sea and higher than the center of gravity of the floating body.
Floating offshore wind turbine
The present invention provides a floating offshore wind turbine capable of suppressing yawing of a nacelle caused by a gyro effect which is a cause of adverse influence of power generating efficiency of a wind turbine and endurance of devices thereof. The floating offshore wind turbine 10 includes a rotor 11 which is rotated by wind, a nacelle 13 in which a rotation shaft 12 of the rotor 11 is accommodated, and a tower 15 including a turning seated bearing 14 which supports the nacelle 13 such that the nacelle 13 can turn with respect to a sea surface P to exert a weathercock effect. The tower is provided with yawing suppressing means 16 which suppresses yawing T of the nacelle 13. According to this, it is possible to suppress the yawing T of the nacelle 13 generated by a gyro effect caused by yawing Ω generated in the floating body 31 by waves of the sea surface P.
MARINE STRUCTURE PLATFORM HAVING MOVEMENT DAMPING FUNCTION AND SUBMERSIBLE MARINE STRUCTURE HAVING SAME
The present invention provides a marine structure platform including: horizontal connecting parts which are disposed under the seawater and connected to one another in a lattice structure; vertical connecting parts which are installed uprightly at four corners of the horizontal connecting parts and protrude from the seawater; and movement damping parts which are extended at the four corners from the vertical connecting parts along the horizontal connecting parts adjacent to one another, the movement damping parts having a plate shape so as to define a vertical gap therebetween.
