In a membrane type heat insulation system for a cryogenic liquefied gas carrier cargo tank and a liquefied gas fuel container, a secondary heat insulation layer comprises a plurality of panels which are stacked in multiple layers while each pair of upper and lower panels is arranged to intersect each other, whereby heat loss which may occur in the gap between the panels can be minimized and deformation due to a temperature difference can be minimized.

An improved hull penetration assembly, and various components thereof are provided. These include a hull penetration mount with braces thereon, as well as a hull penetration mount comprising a lower chamber and a removable hatch coupled thereto. These further include a kit comprising these and other improvements together with a plug insertion apparatus, an object delivery apparatus, a light delivery apparatus and a borescope apparatus.

A floating structure having at least one row of floating rectangular parallelepipedal modular blocks, one block having four vertical peripheral faces that meet at four vertical edges, each vertical edge bearing an assembly lug in which an assembly system can be received in order to join the block to one or more adjacent blocks, each row having a plurality of blocks joined to one another by assembly systems arranged in two diagonally opposite lugs of each block, with the exception of two end blocks, the floating structure being configured so that each block is joined to an adjacent block by a single assembly lug.

An insulating wall fixing device for liquefied natural gas storage tanks includes: a base socket; and a securing stud inserted into the base socket. The base socket is formed on an upper surface thereof with an insertion hole through which the securing stud is inserted into the base socket and has an interior space in which one end of the securing stud is settled. The securing stud includes an insertion portion inserted into the interior space of the base socket through the insertion hole and a fastening portion protruding from the insertion portion outwardly of the base socket. The insertion portion includes a spherical shape and multiple leg members divided by a groove formed from one end of the insertion portion to the other end of the insertion portion. The multiple leg members of the insertion portion are retracted toward the groove.

A platform assembly configured to be coupled to a tower of a sea vessel. The platform assembly includes a platform, a series of brackets configured to be coupled to the platform, and a series of clamps configured to be coupled to the series of brackets. The series of clamps are configured to detachably couple the platform assembly to the tower of the sea vessel.

A hydrofoil system for a hydrofoil equipped watercraft with cooperating fuselage portion that have tapered sections. The tapered sections are configured to form an overlapping stacked wedge within an inner passageway of a collar so that the collar frictionally engages the stacked tapered sections when the first fuselage portion and the second fuselage portion are drawn together longitudinally.

A connection assembly having a nut and a first-snap-fit-engagement-arrangement. The connection assembly further has a first body with a first lug having a second-snap-fit-engagement-arrangement. The nut is coupled to the first lug with the nut, in a manner so as to engage the first-snap-fit-engagement-arrangement with the second-snap-fit-engagement-arrangement such that the nut is non-movable relative to the first lug. The connection assembly further has a second body with a second lug. The second lug is placed over the first lug and a bolt is inserted through respective through-holes of the first lug and the second lug and threaded through a threaded hole of the nut.
