An apparatus is disclosed for opening and closing a grain or access door on a barge lid or cover, the grain door having a latch connecting the grain door to the barge lid, the apparatus supportable by an overhead lifting system. The apparatus can include a base which is supportable by the overhead lifting system and a mechanical arm assembly connected to the base, the mechanical arm assembly including a first arm rotatably connected to the base, a second arm connected to the first arm, a latch engagement member connected to the second arm; and an actuator connected between the first arm and the second arm, the actuator operable to move the second arm relative to the first arm to disengage the latch on the grain door from the barge lid via the latch engagement member and swing the grain door from a closed position to an open position.

REFRIGERATION DEVICE FOR CONTAINER

A container refrigeration apparatus includes a CA system which controls the composition of the air in the container. The CA system includes a gas supply device which supplies nitrogen-enriched air, an intake duct which guides outside air to a first space on a suction side of an interior fan, and an exhaust duct which guides air in a second space on the blowout side of the interior fan out of a container. The exhaust duct has an inlet at a location where the flow of the air blown from the interior fan is blocked by a fan housing.

MIXED CARGOES BARGE OR CARRIER

The present invention describes mixed cargoes barges or carriers (100,100a,200,300,400,500) for carrying bulk cargoes (BC), shipping containers (132, 134), IMO tanks, general cargoes and fluid cargoes. The bulk cargoes and shipping containers can be transported on load-plates (110,110L,110R,110a-110f,210,210L,210R) that are configured pivotably on a deck (108, 208) or in a hull (103), whilst fluid cargoes are stored in storage tanks (130,230) located below the deck or in the hull (103). The bulk cargoes can be discharged by tilting the load-plate or loading the bulk cargoes on tilted load-plates, so that the bulk cargoes fall onto an adjacent conveyor (150,250). When a load plate or a segmented load-plate is emptied of bulk cargoes, the empty load space can then be utilized to carry shipping containers, IMO tanks or general cargoes. Various ways of folding and stowing away the segmented load-plates to free up loading spaces for mixed cargoes.
