VALVE SYSTEM FOR A BREATHING AID, MOUTHPIECE SYSTEM FOR A BREATHING AID, SNORKLING TUBE FOR A BREATHING AID, AND BREATHING AID FOR SWIMMERS
The invention relates to a valve system (10) for a breathing aid for swimmers, in particular for an inhalation valve, comprising a valve housing (1) and a valve diaphragm (2) in the valve housing (1); in a contact zone (3) preferably located in a central area of the valve diaphragm (2), the valve diaphragm (2) is disposed on a first end (4) of a fastening element (5); furthermore, from the contact zone (3), the valve diaphragm (2) runs at least partially at an angle in the direction of a second end (6) of the fastening element (5).
Second Stage Regulator
A second stage regulator suitable for both right-handed and left-handed divers comprises a housing, a mouthpiece, a decompression mechanism, an exhaust mechanism and an airflow adjustment mechanism. The airflow adjustment mechanism can control the output air volume by adjusting the size of the vent. Even in the state of small air volume, the diver only needs to inhale a little to push the second stage output and inhale the air smoothly. The diver can control the direction of the airflow by operating the airflow adjustment mechanism to avoid being choked by the air when the air volume is large. The exhaust holes of the exhaust mechanism is arranged on the side and the exhaust mechanism is facing the left rear side of the housing, which can prevent the exhaust valve from being compressed due to the pressure of water flow when the diver is swimming.
Snorkel upper discharging head having waterproof device
A snorkel upper discharging head has a waterproof device. The snorkel upper discharging head comprises a snorkel upper discharging head body and a floating drum, an air inlet hole is arranged at the front end of the snorkel upper discharging head body and is sleeved with a sealing ring, the snorkel upper discharging head body is internally provided with an air duct communicated with the air inlet hole, circular arc sliding slots are arranged at the left and right inner sides of the snorkel upper discharging head body, the floating drum is clamped in the circular arc sliding slots, and a water seal face jointed with the sealing ring is arranged in the middle of the floating drum; the snorkel upper discharging head having the waterproof device not only has simple and compact structure and excellent waterproof effect, but is also eye-pleasing and fashionable in appearance.
Mouthpiece for measurement of biometric data of a diver and underwater communication
Embodiments of the invention provide a system, apparatus and methods for measurement of biometric data of a diver. In many embodiments, the system includes a mouthpiece having a sensor device comprising a light emitter and detector configured to emit and detect light at a wavelength having an absorbance correlated with a level of a blood gas saturation e.g., oxygen, nitrogen, CO.sub.2. The emitter is positioned to emit light onto oral tissue of the diver and the detector positioned to detect light which is received from the oral tissue either by transmittance of light through the oral tissue or by reflection of light from the tissue. The target oral tissue can include one or both of gum or buccal tissue. Such embodiments allow data to be collected without having to wear additional sensors or measurement devices and allow for measurement of blood gas levels as the diver breaths through their mouthpiece.
Survival Helmet Device
A survival helmet device for use in combination with a survival suit includes a helmet, inhale and exhale control valves, and at least one inflatable air cavity packet secured to the survival suit for selectively controlling the air supply and buoyancy of the survival helmet device and the survival suit.
SWIM CAP WITH RESPIRATOR AND COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
Swim cap comprising a respirator, ear pockets housing headphones, a communication system comprising a microphone integrated in a mouthpiece and a Bluetooth system for enabling voice communication while swimming and avoiding turning the head to lift it out of the water to breathe.
COUPLING APPARATUS AND METHOD OF USE TO ENABLE FLUID COMMUNICATION BETWEEN A MULTI-PORT MECHANICAL SWITCH AND A PRIMARY DIVE REGULATOR
The embodiments shown provide a coupling apparatus and method of use to enable fluid communication between a multi-port mechanical switch and a primary dive regulator. The apparatus includes a grooved portion configured to be releasably attached to a multi-port mechanical switch and a leading edge dimensioned to be releasably secured onto a primary dive regulator. The method includes providing the apparatus with the multi-port mechanical switch and primary dive regulator and compressing or extending onto the first end into the multi-port mechanical switch, and extending a second end onto a primary dive regulator to create a hermetically sealed channel for fluid communication through the apparatus.
SECOND STAGE REGULATOR FOR EMERGENCY BREATHING SYSTEMS
Systems and methods for emergency breathing systems in accordance with embodiments of the invention are disclosed. In an embodiment, a second stage regulator includes a housing, a first nosepiece coupled to a first lever, a second nosepiece coupled to a second lever, a first spring located in the housing and coupled to the first nosepiece and the first lever, a second spring located in the housing and coupled to the second nosepiece and the second lever, a mouthpiece, and a coupler coupled to the housing, wherein the first spring and the second spring bias the first nosepiece and the second nosepiece towards each other.
DIVING APPARATUS AND DIVING SYSTEM
A diving apparatus (10) supplies breathing air (L) and includes a basic body (12), a tank interface (20), a pressure reducer (22), a mouthpiece interface (24), and a display device (30). The tank interface connects to a breathing air tank (90) for the inlet of breathing air into the diving apparatus. The mouthpiece interface is configured for connection of a mouthpiece (92) for the supply of breathing air from the diving apparatus. The pressure reducer is arranged in a gas path of the diving apparatus between the tank interface and the mouthpiece interface for reducing gas pressure. The display device includes a display instrument (32) and a display line (34). A holding element (40) is configured to detachable fasten the display line at the basic body. A diving system (100) is provided including the diving apparatus (10), a breathing air tank (90) and/or with a mouthpiece (92).
REGULATOR BUTTON COVER DEVICE
A cover device for a regulator, which has a purge button and a mouthpiece connected to the regulator, includes a body having a mouthpiece housing to receive the mouthpiece through an access opening which presents a friction fit to squeeze the mouthpiece passing therethrough in a squeezed state to enter and exit a hollow interior of the mouthpiece housing. The hollow interior is configured to store the mouthpiece in a relaxed state. A button cover is connected to the mouthpiece housing to cover the purge button on a top surface of the regulator when the mouthpiece is inserted into the hollow interior of the mouthpiece housing. The button cover is narrower in width than the mouthpiece housing.
