Releasable connecting device
A device for reversibly connecting together a first element and a second element designed to be alternately connected and disconnected includes a male element, inserted into a female element to move from a mutually disengaged state to a mutually engaged state, and a slider, for actuation/release of the engaged state, which is slidingly engaged by the male element into the female element. The relative movement of the actuation/release slider and the male element is transferred to first releasable locking members of the male element, which cooperate with corresponding second locking members of the female element to move from a stable locked state to a stable unlocked state of the male element by a movement of the slider in the direction of insertion. Furthermore, the male element includes a handle having the slider at least partially and slidingly housed therein.

MODULAR LOCKING CONNECTORS FOR PORTABLE HARNESS SYSTEMS, METHODS AND DEVICES
This disclosure relates to modular locking connectors that enable discrete and fully separate components to be easily, quickly, and interchangeably connected together to result in a fully functional buoyancy compensator device. These separate components may include shoulders, waistbands, back panels, bladders or other buoyancy chambers, pockets including those for ballasting weights, and accessories such as knives, lights, signaling devices and the like.
TANK SUPPORT
This disclosure relates to tank wedge connectors to support cylindrical objects, for example to support scuba tanks, particularly designed for use in underwater operations on swimming and diving gear. An embodiment of the tank wedge connectors includes arranging the tank wedge connectors in an opposing pair, forming a cradle. Another embodiment of the disclosed tank wedge connectors includes a rail component which the wedge connectors can slide on to separate and expand, with one of the rails including detents for the wedges to be positioned and fixed at a desired spacing. A third embodiment of these tank wedge connectors includes being mounted to a flexible surface which allows the connectors to conform to cylindrical objects of varying radii.
CORD CONNECTOR
This disclosure relates to a modular cord connector that enables two cords to connect together and release. An embodiment of this cord connector disclosure is designed for use on cords integral to a gas release on buoyancy compensator devices. The preferred embodiment of this cord connector, shown for use on a buoyancy compensator device, includes modular male and female portions which include a T-shaped post on the male portion and a pathway with detents configured to retain the male portion when engaged with the female portion.
SYSTEM FOR RAPID RELEASE OF A WEIGHT
System for rapid release of a weight usable by a diver, comprising: said weight (2); a housing (3) constrainable to the diver and in which the weight (2) is placed; said housing (3) comprising an extraction opening (30) for extracting the weight (2) from the housing (3); an anchorage (4) and a seat (5) in which the anchorage (4) may be positioned, said seat (5) being constrained to the housing (3); the anchorage (4) is constrained to the weight (2). The anchorage (4) is removable from the seat (5) to allow the removal of the weight (2). The seat (5) has a first inlet/outlet mouth (511) for the anchorage (4) which is at least partly turned not towards the extraction opening (30) for extracting the weight (2) from the housing (3), but in the opposite direction.
Safety buckle with provision for emergency release
A device for releasably connecting a first element with a second element includes a male element connectable to one end of the first element, and a female element connectable to one end of the second element such that the male and female element pass from a disengagement condition to a mutual engagement condition. A slider activates and deactivates engagement and is engaged to the male element such to slide along the axis of insertion of the male element inside the female element. The relative motion between the activation/deactivation slider and the male element is transmitted to first removable locking members, belonging to the male element and cooperating with corresponding second locking members belonging to the female element, such to pass from a stable locking condition to a stable release condition of the male and female elements via a movement of the slider along the axis of insertion.
Free Diving Weight Belts with Accessory Attachments
The invention relates to a free diving weight belt including a belt with a buckle that supports attaching a variety of accessories and/or a knob-back screw fastener that can be used to reconfiguring the belt. It permits attaching a variety of screw-on attachments, including but not limited to clips, knives, snorkels, weights, D-rings, weight keepers, and knife holders. It also provides the knob-back screw fasteners to secure excess belt extending beyond the buckle and/or hassle-free attachment of accessories.
Buoyancy Compensator Integrated Weight System
A mechanism for releasably securing a weight-receiving pouch directly onto a buoyancy compensator vest as well as a buoyancy compensation system are provided. The mechanism comprises a first connecting element in the form of a linear rail. A second connecting element comprises a housing defining a slot/channel configured to be slidably received on the linear rail of the first connecting element. One of the first or second connecting elements is located on an external face of the buoyancy compensator vest. The other of the first or second connecting elements is located on/associated with the weight-receiving pouch. The buoyancy compensator system includes the buoyancy compensator vest. The first or second connecting element may be attached to a waist band of the vest.
