Fluid medium vehicle
A fluid medium vehicle is provided which has a main body and at least one engine attached to the main body. The engine is configured to provide thrust parallel to a thrust axis passing through the main body. A plurality of foils is moveably attached to and extends outwardly from the main body. The plurality of foils is arranged in pairs. Each pair of foils extends from the main body along opposite ends of one of a plurality of foil axes. Each foil axis is perpendicular to the thrust axis, and each foil is constructed as an independently positionable control surface and as an independently controllable propulsion device.

Projectile launch detector, and associated projectile and launcher assembly
A projectile launch detector, including a body, a mast and a blade rigidly connected to the mast; the mast being capable of sliding between a retracted configuration and a deployed configuration, and capable of pivoting between a first and a second angular position. The detector may further includes a first elastic return element to return the mast to the deployed configuration relative to the body; and a first associated sensor; and a second elastic return element to return the mast to the first angular position relative to the body; and a second associated sensor.

DEVICE AND METHOD FOR LAUNCHING AN UNDERWATER PROJECTILE FROM A WATERCRAFT
A launching device and associated methods can be utilized to launch an underwater running body from a platform such as a watercraft. The launching device may include a ramp, which extends along a longitudinal ramp axis, and a propellant deflection unit. The ramp may enclose an underwater running body with a propulsion unit underwater. The launching device may activate the propulsion unit, which then emits a propellant. The propellant deflection unit deflects the emitted propellant into an outlet direction. This outlet direction of the propellant may be directed perpendicularly or obliquely away from the platform.

Winged autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV)
An underwater vehicle includes a longitudinal body that defines a longitudinal axis and is rotatable about the longitudinal axis between a forward orientation and a sideways orientation, a wing attached to the longitudinal body that is moveable between a vertically extending wing orientation when the longitudinal body is in the forward orientation and a horizontally extending wing orientation when the longitudinal body is in the sideways orientation, a propulsion system having a front propulsion device and a rear propulsion device that is arranged rearwardly along the longitudinal axis relative to the front propulsion device, and an after-propulsion system arranged at a rear end of the longitudinal body that provides thrust along the longitudinal axis. The secondary propulsion system provides thrust in a perpendicular direction relative to the longitudinal axis.
