A steering handle device includes a housing to be mounted on a hull, a tube member and a steering shaft. The tube member is rotatable in a forward/backward direction around the tilt shaft relative to the housing. The steering shaft is inserted to the tube member. A steering arm is attached to the steering shaft. The steering arm includes an extending portion extending to an outer side of the housing. A joint member is provided on the extending portion. The joint member includes a connection portion to connect to the steering cable and a support portion to support the connection portion. When the steering shaft is in the neutral position in the rotation direction, the connection portion is located in a position corresponding to the tilt shaft as viewing the housing from the lateral direction.

SMALL PLANING WATERCRAFT

A small planing watercraft includes: a body; a seat located above the body; a steering handle located above the body and forward of the seat; and an additional part holding mount secured to the handle and disposed forward of a rear surface of the handle.

A tiller for an outboard motor includes a tiller body that is elongated along a longitudinal center axis between a proximal end and a distal end. A throttle grip is on the distal end of the tiller body. A trim switch assembly is located at a distal end of the throttle grip. The trim switch assembly includes a momentary switch and a driver. The driver is configured to output current to activate a trim relay on the outboard motor in response to actuation of the momentary switch.

JET POWERED WATERCRAFT CONTROL MECHANISM

A control system for a jet propelled watercraft comprising a hull with a transom and water jet unit, the control system comprising, as a transom mountable unit, a tiller controlled thrust vectoring nozzle and an actuator controlled jet deflection member for forward direction steering and reversing respectively of the jet propelled watercraft.

Surfboards moved by user power comprises: a surfboard body streamlined, when viewed from a plan view, concave grooves are formed on both sides, respectively; a propulsion body including: a first propulsion body formed with a first propulsion unit that is hinged to one side groove of the surfboard body and is formed inclined with respect to the surfboard body on a lower surface to generate propulsion force according to the movement of the user's feet; and a second propulsion body formed with a second propulsion unit that is hinged to the other side groove of the surfboard body and is formed inclined with respect to the surfboard body on a lower surface to generate propulsion force according to the movement of the user's feet; and a direction change unit including: a rotating shaft passing through the surfboard body; a handle disposed on an upper end of the surfboard body of the rotating shaft to rotate the rotating shaft; and a direction change key that is disposed on a lower part of the surfboard body of the rotating shaft and rotates together with the rotating shaft.

Personal watercraft

A personal watercraft includes a watercraft body including a deck. The deck includes a side-opening storage recessed inward to accommodate items. The side-opening storage has an opening facing outward in a width direction of the watercraft body.

Tiller control device

A kit is provided which can be installed on a sailboat and used to selectively control the position of the tiller of the sailboat to allow the helmsman to leave the tiller unattended for a limited period of time. The kit is to be mounted on the transom of the sailboat and comprises: a mounting receiver adapted to be attached to the transom; an arm having a rearward end adapted to be attached to said mounting receiver and to extend forwardly therefrom and a forward end; and a saddle mount adapted to be attached to the forward end of said arm and having a u-shape adapted to receive a said tiller.

Electric Boat Drive

A control device for controlling an electric motor. The control device includes a twist grip that is rotatably mounted on a carrier such that the twist grip is user-twistable in a first direction from a neutral position to a first operating position, and in a second direction from the neutral position to a second operating position. The control device further includes a force element for producing a return force. The force element operatively couples to the twist grip via a force transmission element and at least one deflection element such that the force element applies the return force to the twist grip thereby twisting the twist grip to the neutral position.

Steering system

The invention provides a steering system comprising a controlled element which is movable in a neutral area comprising a neutral position and in areas on opposite sides of the neutral area based on a steering input and a handle for requesting a desired position for the controlled element. The handle is movable between set-points in a center zone comprising a center set-point and set-points on opposite sides of the center zone. Furthermore, a steering unit is arranged to receive set-points from the handle, to determine a corresponding controlled position of the controlled element, and to move the controlled element to said controlled position. In order to prevent or reduce jerks, the steering unit is adapted to vary a speed by which the controlled element is moved to the controlled position. The speed is variable in dependence of the received set-point.
