A WORM GEAR ACTUATOR FOR A MARINE STEERING APPARATUS
Disclosed is an actuator for a marine steering apparatus with steering shaft. The actuator comprises a housing, a gearmotor disposed within the housing, a worm gear disposed within the housing, and a sector gear disposed within the housing. The gearmotor drives the worm gear and the worm gear drives the sector gear. The sector gear transmits torque to the steering shaft of the marine steering apparatus.

DEVICE FOR THE ROLL STABILIZING OF A WATERCRAFT
A device for the roll-stabilization of a watercraft in motion, at anchor, or at zero speed, and/or for influencing the course of the watercraft, includes a fin-carrying shaft on which a guide fin is disposed. For changing an actual angle of attack of the guide fin in the water, the fin-carrying shaft is drivable by an electromechanical drive unit, and the drive unit is disposed on the hull using a base. An electromechanical drive unit is configured with a synchronous motor that drives the fin-carrying shaft using a reducing eccentric transmission. The device thereby has a significantly reduced installation space requirement, causes only slight operating noises, and is also optimally electronically regulable.
Tiller control for boats
A tiller control for boats comprising a brake that holds a control line in a static position. In turn, the control line holds the tiller and rudder of the boat in a static position. The amount of pressure applied to the control line by the brake is adjustable. Pressure applied to the control line by the brake may be adjusted so that the tiller and rudder are held in a generally static position, but the tiller control can be manually overridden.

STEERING GEAR FOR BOAT
A steering gear for a boat includes a steering mechanism that moves a rudder, and a driving source. The steering mechanism has: a housing that is fixed to a hull; an output shaft that is rotatably supported by the housing; a first conversion mechanism that is provided inside the housing and converts power from the driving source into rotation of the output shaft; and a second conversion mechanism that is provided outside the housing and converts rotation of the output shaft into motion of the rudder.

MARINE ELECTRIC POWER STEERING AUTOPILOT SYSTEM
A control system for a marine vessel includes an autopilot system and a power steering system. The autopilot system is arranged to receive a first signal indicative of navigation information and output a second signal indicative of a steering action. The power steering system is in communication with the autopilot system and is arranged to pivot or turn at least one of a rudder and a propulsion unit based on the second signal.
