A marine vessel having a propeller that provides propulsive force to the marine vessel, and a course control system. The course control system includes a course changing mechanism that changes a course of the marine vessel, and a controller configured or programmed to detect a sudden movement of the marine vessel originating from broaching caused by a following wave of the marine vessel, and upon detecting the sudden movement of the marine vessel originating from the broaching, control a rotation rate of the propeller and/or cause the course changing mechanism to change the course of the marine vessel.

Propulsion rudder for a water drone
A propulsion rudder for use with a water vessel, preferably an unmanned surface water vessel. The propulsion rudder includes a rotating base, a rudder assembly, and a thrust assembly. In one embodiment, the rudder assembly may comprise two vertical mast rudders connected by an upper horizontal wing, with the thrust assembly mounted on the horizontal wing. In a second embodiment, the rudder assembly may comprise an annular airfoil with the thrust assembly mounted on a mast and positioned in the center of the annular airfoil. The thrust assembly may be a propeller, a turbine, a ramjet, or a rocket.

MARINE FISHTAIL RUDDER
The present invention discloses a marine fishtail rudder, including a rudder blade, a first tail plate and a second tail plate. The rudder blade includes a first rudder surface and a second rudder surface. The first tail plate is hinged on the first rudder surface. The second tail plate is hinged on the second rudder surface. An electric motor is provided in the rudder blade. The electric motor is used to drive the first tail plate and the second tail plate to rotate, so that a trailing edge of the first tail plate and a trailing edge of the second tail plate are close to or away from a trailing edge of the rudder blade. The present invention discloses a marine fishtail rudder, wherein tail plates are respectively arranged on the two rudder surfaces of a rudder tail portion, and the tail plates are rotated by an electric motor. When steering, the tail plates are unfolded to form a rudder shape of a fishtail rudder to obtain a higher rudder effect. When sailing straight or reversing, the tail plates are closed to form a rudder shape of a streamlined rudder and reduce the resistance of the rudder.

A watercraft having a body with an opening for a user, a seat, at least one drive mechanism placed at least partially within the opening; an intake configured to allow a flow of water from a body of water surrounding the watercraft; a pump configured receive the flow of water and accelerate the flow of water, and a user controlled discharge configured to receive the flow of accelerated water from the pump and discharge the accelerated water to the water surrounding the watercraft such that the watercraft moves in a direction chosen by the user.

Remote Guidance for Rowing Shells
A system for guiding a first watercraft remotely has a rudder proximate the stern of the first watercraft, having a rudder shaft extending upward from a deck area at the stern, a servo device having an output servo horn coupled to the rudder shaft by a linkage, adapted to turn the rudder shaft in concert with the servo horn, a radio receiver/controller adapted for receiving radio signals for guiding the first watercraft, the radio receiver/controller coupled to the servo device, and a radio transmitter having an input wheel for providing steering commands. The system is characterized in that the input wheel of the radio transmitter is manipulated by a user remote from the watercraft, the radio signals for guiding the first watercraft are transmitted from the radio transmitter to the radio receiver/controller on the first watercraft, and the radio receiver/controller provides operating signals to the servo device to rotate the servo horn either clockwise or counterclockwise, guiding the first watercraft.
