Aircraft divan
An aircraft is disclosed with an aircraft divan that comprises a back rest, an upright side rest extending from the back rest and forming a side of the aircraft divan, and a seat rest having a first seat section connected to the back rest and a second seat section displaceable translationally relative to the first seat section between a first position and a second position, a gap defined between the first seat section and the second seat section in the first position to receive therein legs of a seated occupant between the first and second seat sections, and the first and second seat sections being adjacent one another to close the gap and form an elongated sitting surface in the second position. A method of adjusting such aircraft divan is also provided.
Static aircraft seat privacy panels
A static aircraft seat privacy panel may include a body. At least a portion of a surface of the body may be shaped to at least partially conform with at least a portion of an aircraft seat. A lower edge of the body may be configured to couple to a floor via a set of floor-mounted components. The set of floor-mounted components may be within the floor separate from a set of seat tracks of an aircraft seat compliant with 16G force requirements for aviation transport. An upper edge of the body may be configured to be offset a selected distance from a surface of one or more overhead structures of the aircraft cabin when the body is coupled to one or more structures positioned proximate to a ceiling of the aircraft cabin. The static aircraft seat privacy panel may be compliant with 9G force requirements for aviation transport.
Dynamic electro-mechanical ottoman
A dynamic electro-mechanical ottoman may include a rail assembly with one or more actuatable tracks coupled to one or more rails. The dynamic electro-mechanical ottoman may include a cushion assembly translatable via the one or more actuatable tracks between a first translation position and a second translation position. The cushion assembly may include one or more cross plates coupled to a pivot shaft and the one or more actuatable tracks, and a cushion sub-assembly. The cushion sub-assembly may include one or more support plates coupled to a cushion and the pivot shaft, and may be rotatable about an axis through the pivot shaft between a first rotation position and a second rotation position. A top surface of the cushion may at least partially face an aircraft seat when the cushion sub-assembly is in the second rotation position.
Business class seats for a passenger vehicle
Passenger seat assemblies may be used in vehicles such as aircraft. The passenger seat assembly includes a first wall, a second wall opposite from the first wall, and a passenger seat having a first side and a second side opposite from the first side. The passenger seat is positioned between the first wall and the second wall. The passenger seat assembly is positionable between a forward-facing configuration and an aft-facing configuration. In both the forward-facing configuration and the aft-facing configuration, the first wall is proximate to the first side of the passenger seat and the second wall is proximate to the second side of the passenger seat.
Passenger seating arrangement having a screen between seat units
A passenger seating arrangement for use in an aircraft cabin, wherein the seat units are arranged in an inwardly facing herringbone layout. A screen is arranged to separate a passenger in each aft seat unit from a passenger in a fore seat unit in front of it in the column. The screen comprises an upper part and a lower part below the upper part, the upper and lower parts of the screen being offset relative to each other, for example to create an overhang on the side of the screen facing the aft seat unit, such that, the upper part provides shoulder space for a passenger seated in the fore seat unit, and the lower part provides arm space, in which there is an arm rest, for a passenger seated in the aft seat unit.
RESTING AREA SYSTEMS FOR AN INTERNAL CABIN OF A VEHICLE
A resting area system and method for an internal cabin of a vehicle includes a monument, and a bed module coupled to the monument. The bed module includes one or more beds. The bed module is moveable between a stowed position and a deployed position relative to the monument.
VEHICLE SUITE SEATING ARRANGEMENT
Disclosed is a vehicle seating arrangement may include structural units positioned along a longitudinal axis of a vehicle. Each structural unit may include a frame supported relative to the vehicle, a lower seating suite generally facing a forward portion of the vehicle, and an upper seating suite generally facing an aft portion of the vehicle. Each of the lower and upper seating suites may be configurable between an upright seating position and a lie-flat seating position. Further, each of the lower seating suit and the upper seating suit of each structural unit may include an integrated seat pan and extension positioned in same for optionally configuring the respective seating suite in either the upright seating position or the lie-flat seating position.
Apparatus for mattress retention in an aircraft passenger compartment
The present application relates to securing a mattress within an aircraft including a pliable enclosure configured for enclosing a cushion including a fastener system for providing access to an interior of the pliable enclosure when the fastener system is in an open state and for restraining the mattress when the fastener system is in a closed state and wherein the pliable enclosure has a top surface and a bottom surface and a strapping system affixed to the bottom surface wherein the strapping system includes a strap extension affixed to the strapping system wherein the strap extension is configured to be received by a retention clip secured to a bed support platform.
Aircraft interior structure including actuatable panels and a footwell
An aircraft interior structure may include a primary monument, an auxiliary monument, and a passenger seating section. The primary monument may include one or more storage compartments and a primary panel configured to actuate between a primary panel stowed position and a primary panel deployed position. The auxiliary monument may be spaced a select distance from the primary monument across a floor area of an aircraft cabin, and may include an auxiliary panel configured to actuate between an auxiliary panel stowed position and an auxiliary panel deployed position. The passenger seating section may include a footwell at least partially within the primary monument and proximate to the one or more storage compartments. The footwell may correspond to an aircraft seat. The aircraft seat may be configured to form a bed surface with at least a portion being within the footwell when the aircraft seat is in a lie-flat position.
Seat extension with modular length, unit comprising a seat extension and passenger cabin
A cabin of a vehicle for transporting passengers includes a plurality of units, each unit including a seat and a modular seat extension arranged staggered in the units. Each extension includes a shell having a front bottom and a rear opening determined by a hollow volume open towards the rear and a footrest area inside the hollow volume suitable for receiving the feet of a passenger. The shell of each extension includes an invariant portion and a modular portion located in front of the invariant portion. The modular portion making it possible during the fastening thereof to the invariant portion to obtain an extension with a length that can be modified between the opening and the bottom of the shell and, a width of passage towards the aisle between the seats and the extensions of the units is maintained constant during the use of the extensions by the passengers.
