SEAT RAIL MOUNTING MEMBER
An aircraft assembly with first and second seat rails for interlocking with an aircraft seat, and a systems component mounting member interlocked with those seat rails. The mounting member has a first anchor member interlocked with the first seat rail and a second anchor member interlocked with the second seat rail. The assembly includes an aircraft systems component mounted on the mounting member. Existing seat rails or tracks of the aircraft can be used for attachment of support brackets for aircraft systems components. A novel way of using existing seat rails to provide anchorage points for systems brackets for systems components is disclosed.
Static aircraft seat privacy panels
A static aircraft seat privacy panel may include a body. At least a portion of a surface of the body may be shaped to at least partially conform with at least a portion of an aircraft seat. A lower edge of the body may be configured to couple to a floor via a set of floor-mounted components. The set of floor-mounted components may be within the floor separate from a set of seat tracks of an aircraft seat compliant with 16G force requirements for aviation transport. An upper edge of the body may be configured to be offset a selected distance from a surface of one or more overhead structures of the aircraft cabin when the body is coupled to one or more structures positioned proximate to a ceiling of the aircraft cabin. The static aircraft seat privacy panel may be compliant with 9G force requirements for aviation transport.
AIRCRAFT SEAT
An aircraft seat includes an actuator and a movement transmission device. The movement transmission device includes a frame having at least one bearing face and one braking face; a drive body configured to being rotated relative to the frame, the drive body having a bearing face and a braking face; and an elastic element suitable for keeping the braking face of the drive body at a defined distance from the braking face of the frame, the elastic element having a determined stiffness and being prestressed such that, when an axial load greater than a threshold load is applied to the drive body, the braking face of the drive body comes into contact with the at least one braking face of the frame.
MOUNTING RAIL ARRANGEMENT FOR AN AIRCRAFT FLOOR, FLOOR STRUCTURE AND AIRCRAFT HAVING THE SAME
A mounting rail arrangement for an aircraft floor, floor structure and aircraft having the same. To allow full floor structural decoupling for monuments and/or cabin attendant seats, a mounting rail arrangement includes two mounting rails having mounting holes distributed along their longitudinal direction. A mounting bolt is inserted into the mounting holes and an attachment bolt for fixing a cabin monument and/or a cabin attendant seat is inserted into the mounting bolt. As a result, the cabin monument and/or cabin attendant seat may be installed on at different locations and/or with different orientations using all kinds of configurations enabled by the mounting holes.
SEAT RAIL SYSTEM FOR AN INTERIOR SPACE OF A VEHICLE
A seat rail system for an interior space of a vehicle includes a seat rail having a plurality of attachment sockets arranged in a row along a longitudinal extension of the seat rail. Each attachment socket has an at least partly spheroid concave bearing surface. Two coupling openings are embedded in each concave bearing surface; an attachment stud having an at least partly spheroid or cylindroid convex bearing surface with a curvature corresponding to a curvature of the concave bearing surface of the attachment sockets. A coupling pin is arranged on or in the convex bearing surface and configured to enter one of the attachment openings to couple the attachment stud to the seat rail. A locking pin is configured to enter the respective other attachment opening through a through hole in the attachment stud and thereby lock the attachment stud to the seat rail.
SEAT TRACK ASSEMBLY FOR USE IN AN AIR VEHICLE
A seat track assembly for use in a vehicle. The seat track assembly includes a floor joist including a main body extending in a longitudinal direction, a seat track channel defined in the main body, and at least one support flange extending in a lateral direction from the main body. A raceway is on the at least one support flange, wherein the raceway extends longitudinally along the floor joist, and has an interior sized to receive wiring therein. The seat track assembly also includes a track cover including a top plate. The raceway is positioned between the at least one support flange and the top plate, and the top plate extends past the raceway in the lateral direction.
Rail arrangement for an inner space of an aircraft
A rail arrangement for an inner space of an aircraft has a first portion having first rails for receiving passenger seats and having second rails which extend transversely relative to the first rails for receiving fittings. The rails are secured to a floor structure which is arranged in the inner space. The securing of the fittings is consequently decoupled from the floor structure.
Seat track covering systems and methods
A seat track covering system and method are configured to cover a seat track and one or more cables within an internal cabin of a vehicle. The seat track covering system and method include a seat track cover that securely couples to the seat track, and at least one cover adjustment member moveably coupled to the seat track cover. The seat track cover and the cover adjustment member(s) cover at least a portion of the seat track and at least a portion of the cable(s).
MODULAR CHANNEL-MOUNTED FURNITURE ATTACHMENT
Described are crossbeam assemblies for installing a furnishing to a passenger compartment. The crossbeam assemblies can include a first structural member configured to span two floor-mounted channels in a passenger compartment, and at least two attachment elements that are slidingly connected with the first structural member. The attachment elements are repositionable along the first structural member to mate with the floor-mounted channels, and lockable to retain the first structural member with respect to the two floor-mounted channels when the first structural member is attached.
QUICK-RELEASE TRACK FITTINGS
A quick-release fitting for lockingly engaging between two inwardly-directed lips of a track may comprise two resilient plates that are spreadable via a blade moved between raised/disengaged and lowered/engaged positions via a four-bar linkage mechanism. The lower edges of the plates may comprise flanges that extend at angles corresponding to the angles of the undersides of the inwardly-directed lips. To concentrate contact forces between the fitting and the track, and reduce a spreading force on the track, the plates may include a neck region immediately above the flanges. The quick-release fitting may also include a roller assembly allowing the structure being supported by the fitting to be tilted rearward and moved. The roller assembly may include features to keep the quick-release fitting aligned with the track when moved.
