AERIAL MARINE DRONE SYSTEM AND METHOD
A marine drone system utilizing an unmanned aerial vehicle to provide visual feedback for conditions including temperature, depth, and conditions which may suggest favorable fishing conditions, such as weed lines, flotsam, breaks, and objects, such as birds or fish. The system utilizes a plurality of sensors, including, but not limited to, cameras, laser, GPS, radar, and LIDAR. The visual feedback may be shown as a video fees or a map, wherein the feedback is shown as a visual backgrounds, wherein an overlay of interactive functions provides information regarding the conditions. The system also includes method steps for implementing, obtaining, and displaying the information. The system hardware includes the unmanned aerial vehicle, a base station, and a hardwired tether between the unmanned aerial vehicle and the base station providing power and bi-directional data transfer.
ROTARY WING VEHICLE
A rotary wing vehicle includes a body structure having an elongated tubular backbone or core, and a counter-rotating coaxial rotor system having rotors with each rotor having a separate motor to drive the rotors about a common rotor axis of rotation. The rotor system is used to move the rotary wing vehicle in directional flight.
Hybrid aircraft and landing launch/recovery system
A hybrid aircraft system uses a combination of direct propeller driven gas engine and electric motor power to provide vertical thrust and control for hover of the aircraft. Furthermore, a portable launch/recovery system is configured for use with an aircraft such as a Vertical Takeoff and Landing (VTOL) Unmanned Air Vehicle (UAV). The system is configured to enable ships with limited available deck space to become UAV-compatible.
Systems and methods for surveillance
An example system for flying to a target location is provided, comprising a parent aerial vehicle and at least one child vehicle releasably coupled to the parent vehicle. The parent vehicle is configured to transport the at least one child aerial vehicle to a region containing a target location, uncouple from the at least one child aerial vehicle, and transmit information to the at least one child aerial vehicle relevant to operation of the child aerial vehicle. The child aerial vehicle comprises at least one sensor for surveillance at the target location.
Sonobuoy deployable resources
Disclosed is a sonobuoy that houses at least one unmanned vehicle that may be launched from the sonobuoy. The sonobuoy may include a canister, a parachute, an unmanned vehicle, and a launch mechanism. The parachute may be disposed within an interior cavity of the canister proximate to a first end of the canister. The unmanned vehicle may be disposed within the interior cavity of the canister proximate to a second end of the canister. The launch mechanism may be disposed within the interior cavity of the canister and operatively coupled to the unmanned vehicle. The launch mechanism may be configured to launch the unmanned vehicle from the canister. The sonobuoy may further include a launch deployment mechanism that may be configured to orient the canister with respect to a surface after the sonobuoy impacts the surface in order to facilitate the launch of the unmanned vehicle.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR UNMANNED AERIAL SIGNAL RELAY
An unmanned aerial signal relay includes an unmanned aerial vehicle, including a communication relay unit and at least one antenna, communicatively connected to the communication relay unit; a tether comprising at least two wires and at least one fiber optic cable, the wires and cable communicatively connected to the unmanned aerial vehicle; and a surface support system comprising a spool physically connected to the tether and a ground-based receiver communicatively connected to the at least one fiber optic cable, wherein the unmanned aerial vehicle is powered by electrical energy provided by the at least two wires, and wherein the communication relay unit is configured to relay signals received from the at least one antenna via the fiber optic cable to the ground-based receiver. Various systems and methods related to an unmanned aerial signal relay are also described.
DRONE ROUTING COMBINING AUTONOMOUS FLIGHT AND ASSIST VEHICLE TRAVEL
A system comprises a drone having autonomous drive capability and an assist vehicle (AV) for transporting the drone in an assisted drive mode in which the drone is held at, and transported by, the assist vehicle. Control hardware and software are programmed to determine drone travel over a route having a first route section in which the drone travels autonomously and a second route section in which the drone travels in the assisted drive mode.
DRONE STATION
A drone station according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises: a roof allowing a drone to land thereon; a side wall formed to be erected around all sides of the roof from the lower side of the roof; a nozzle which is formed at an edge at which the roof and the side wall meet each other, and sprays an air current upward; a grill formed on the side wall to allow external air to be introduced thereinto; a guide panel disposed inside the grill to guide fluid flow so that fluid flows from the grill to the nozzle; and a rotor disposed inside the guide panel to move fluid from the grill side to the nozzle side through a rotating operation.
Control system for boats
A control system for boats includes a direction control system of a propulsion unit having a directional control member, and an acceleration/deceleration control system of the propulsion unit having an acceleration/deceleration control member. The directional control member activates a directional unit that generates directional control signals, which set an orientation of the propulsion unit, and the acceleration/deceleration control member activates an acceleration/deceleration unit that generates acceleration/deceleration control signals, which set at least a number of revolutions of the propulsion unit. The control system further includes a display unit provided with a screen, and a camera having a control system that provides images of areas or zones that cannot be observed by an operator of the control system while steering the boat, so as to enable driving the acceleration/deceleration unit and/or the directional unit according to a content of those images.
