BAG-MAKING AND PACKAGING MACHINE
A bag-making and packaging machine forms a sheet-like film into a tubular shape and transversely seals the film to manufacture bags containing articles. The bag-making and packaging machine includes a transverse sealing mechanism and a control unit. The transverse sealing mechanism pinches and transversely seals the tubular film that has been formed into a tubular shape to form a transverse seal portion. The control unit determines whether or not there is jamming in the transverse seal portion and, in a case where it has determined that there is jamming, switches between a first bag-making process to continue bag-making operation and a second bag-making process to stop bag-making operation based on a jamming state.
Dosing device for feeding an infusion product
A dosing device for feeding an infusion product includes: a tower for containing product, tubular channels for feeding the product to the tower; each channel configured to pick up the product from the tower and release a quantity of product; a plurality of containers for receiving the product from the channels; a platform movable relative to the channels supporting the containers one after another. The platform is configured for carrying, in sequence, each container to a first position for feeding a quantity of product less than the weight of a programmed dose and, subsequently, to a second position for feeding a remaining quantity of product for reaching the weight of the programmed dose. A plurality of weighing elements control the weight of the product in each container and a control unit controls the quantity of product fed to each container and the relative movement of the platform.

MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
A management system (1) manages a production line (2) including a processing apparatus (20) and an inspection apparatus (40). The management system (1) includes: a control unit (61) that estimates a processing time at which a defective food is processed by the processing apparatus (20) based on a time at which the defective food determined as a defective product by inspection by the inspection apparatus (40) is inspected; and a storage unit (62) that stores processing information of the processing apparatus (20) related to the processing time estimated by the control unit (61) such that the processing information can be output.
DOSING DEVICE FOR FEEDING AN INFUSION PRODUCT
A dosing device for feeding an infusion product includes: a tower for containing loose infusion product, tubular channels for feeding and discharging the product, first containers for receiving the product from the channels; each channel actuated by an actuation device for releasing a quantity of product; a fixed platform supporting the first containers, a plurality of elements for weighing the product in the containers and supported by the platform; a control unit in communication with each actuating device and with each weighing element, to detect the value measured by each element and actuate the corresponding channel until reaching the quantity of product. Reference elements are independent of the weighing elements are associated with the platform each supporting a weight of predetermined value; each reference element is in communication with the control unit to transmit a signal equivalent to the measured value of the reference weight by the reference element.

COMBINED WEIGHING SYSTEM, COMBINED WEIGHING METHOD, AND COMBINED WEIGHING PROGRAM
A combined weighing system 1 includes a first X-ray inspection device 20, a combined weighing device 40, a bag making and packaging device 50, a weight inspection device 60, a second X-ray inspection device 70, and a management device 90 that manages each device. The management device 90 revises a weight conversion table of the first X-ray inspection device 20 and a correction value of the combined weighing device 40 based on an average value of weights of products B, which is calculated from a result of inspection over a certain time period in the weight inspection device 60.
Apparatus and method for filling a container with fragile fruit
An apparatus and method for filling a container with fragile fruit involving submerging the container in water to better distribute the fragile fruit within the container. The container may be filled with fragile fruit either before or after being submerged in water. The fragile fruit may be transported using a stream of water or other suitable fluid medium.
OPTIMISED METHOD FOR FILLING A PYROTECHNIC CHARGE AND SYSTEM IMPLEMENTING SUCH A METHOD
A method for filling a container with a pyrotechnic charge using a filling system, said method including, when the powder is conveyed, a step of regulating the powder flow rate in which at least one powder conveyor device is brought to vibrate according to a vibration frequency control sequence, the vibration frequency being inversely proportional to the filling ratio of the container of the pyrotechnic charge.
AUTOMATED PACKING OF CROPS
A system including a flume. The flume can include a fluid and be configured to receive crops. The system also can include crop selectors each sized to move the crops individually from the flume into a scale. The system additionally can include the scale. The scale can be configured to weigh the crops while the crops are in the scale. The system further can include a container carrier configured to (i) hold a container that is submerged in the fluid while the crops are dumped from the scale into the container and (ii) lift the container out of the fluid to allow the fluid to drain from the container while the container holds the crops. Other embodiments are described.
