A SEPARATABLE LOWER MOLD OF STEEL STRAPPING MACHINE WITHOUT USING JOINT
The steel strapping machine without using joint currently available from the market has three shortcomings. Firstly, packages cannot be strapped tightly. Secondly, a steel strap may get caught on a lower mold when the lower mold is taken out from underside of the steel strap. Thirdly, the strapping machine is not available for small packages. To overcome the shortcomings of the prior arts, the present disclosure proposes a separatable lower mold of the steel strapping machine without using a joint, which is formed as two parts being able to be closed together or separated from each other. The separatable lower mold has advantages that packages can be strapped tightly, the steel strap will not get caught on the lower mold when the lower mold is taken out from the underside of the steel strap and it is possible for the strapping machine to strap small packages.

APPARATUS, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR JOINING ELONGATED ELEMENTS IN A BODY OF WATER
An apparatus for joining elongated elements in a body of water has a frame; a strap feeding device; two arms movable with respect to the frame and configured to guide a strap around the elongated elements; a clamping device, configured to retain an end portion of the strap; a driving device configured to advance and tighten the strap around the elongated elements; a junction device, configured to join two overlapping portions of the strap so as to close the strap around the elongated elements; and a cutting device configured to separate the strap upstream of the joined portion.
Electrically powered combination hand-held strapping tool
An electrically powered strapping tool for tensioning and forming a sealless joint in overlapping sections of steel strap around a load includes a body having a foot, a tensioning assembly operably mounted to the body, the tensioning assembly having an electrically powered motor and a tensioning wheel operably connected to the tensioner motor. The tool includes a sealing assembly operably mounted to the body, the sealing assembly having an electrically powered motor and a sealer operably connected to the electrically powered motor. A control system controls operation of the tensioning assembly and the sealing assembly to operate the strapping tool in an automatic mode in which the tensioning assembly and the sealing assembly are sequentially actuated by a single action of the control system by an operator, and in a manual mode in which the tensioning assembly and the sealing assembly are sequentially actuated by multiple actions of the control system by the operator.
Strapping method and apparatus
The invention relates to a method for producing strapping. A strapping band (4) is first guided about at least one packaging piece, tightened, and equipped with a closure at band ends (4a, 4b) to be connected in a closure unit (1). Furthermore, at least one sensor (7) connected to a control unit (8) is provided in the closure unit (1). One or more closure parameters are detected by means of the control unit (8) using the sensor (7), and the closure unit (1) is correspondingly actuated. According to the invention, the sensor (7) is designed as a load cell (7) which is let into a compression ram (6a, 6b) of the closure unit (1).
CLAMPING COLLAR WITH A TRANSVERSE BUCKLE
The collar comprises a looped metal strap (10) and a transverse buckle (12) retained at the first end of the strap and forming, on the outer side of said first end, a passage (13) through which the second end (10B) of the strap can be inserted over the first end, the second end of the strap as inserted in this way being suitable for being indented so as to co-operate with at least one of the elements comprising the transverse buckle (12) and the first end (10A) of the strap, in order to be retained so that it is prevented from moving in the direction in which the diameter of the collar increases. The buckle (12) carries at least one radially projecting outer tab (20, 22), the tab having the shape of a hook having a stem carrying a head under which a recess is formed.
Tool for Mounting a Tension Clamp
A tension clamp (19) includes a band (20) surrounding an object to be fastened and a buckle (21) arranged on the inner band end portion (22) and surrounding the band (20), with the outer band end portion (23) extending through the buckle (21). A tool for mounting the tension clamp includes a holding device for holding the buckle (21) along with the band (20) surrounding the object to be fastened, a tensioning device for tensioning the band (20) round the object to be fastened by applying tension to the outer band end portion (23), a locking device (50) for locking the buckle (21) on dem band (20), and a severing device for cutting off excessive band length. The locking device (50) has plier jaws (54) adapted to be inserted into lateral windows (25) of the buckle (21) for deforming side edge portions (24) of the other band end portion (23).
