SEALABLE AND AUTOSAMPLER COMPATIBLE MICROAMPULE FOR PACKAGING AND A METHOD FOR PERSEVERING ANALYTICAL AND BIOPHARMACEUTICAL SAMPLES
The present invention is a sealable microampule for storage of environment sensitive material which is autosampler compatible and provides a space, small enough to make low volumes of liquid available for auto-injector needle. The microampule fits inside an autosampler vial and breaks open at a certain height to allow stable accommodation inside the autosampler vial. The microampule has a longer length which provides space to apply the force to snap break the seal at the opening level of the autosampler vial.
METHOD AND ARRANGEMENT FOR FILLING A STERILE CONTAINER
Method for filling a sterile container, in particular a bottle, with a liquid, wherein a sterile connection is established between a flexible bag and a first opening of the container, a sterile connection is established between a second opening of the container and a source of the liquid to be filled into the container, the liquid is filled into the container, a gas, in particular air, which is present in the container is displaced by the liquid and forced into the flexible bag while increasing the volume of the flexible bag and the connection between the source of liquid and the second opening of the container is severed in a sterile way.
ASSEMBLY AND APPARATUS FOR FILLING CARTRIDGES WITH A LIQUID
An assembly of the present invention is designed specifically for filling vaporizer cartridges, pods, and other personal vaporizer systems with high viscosity extracts (oils). The assembly includes three main components such as the syringe station, the control box, and foot pedal. The control box includes the software to operate the assembly. The control box has controls for temperature and air pressure (for purging the vessel). The foot pedal operates the syringe for filling cartridges. The syringe station consists of a heated vessel, and a heated pneumatically operated syringe. The syringe system can be used in this configuration and can also be used as part of a larger, fully automated filling machine without limiting the scope of the present invention. The syringe system works well with viscous liquids.
System for simultaneous distribution of fluid to multiple vessels and method of using the same
A method of aseptically distributing fluid to a plurality of vessels includes securing the plurality of vessels relative to a hub and flowing fluid through an input tube into a plenum of the hub such that a substantially equal amount of fluid flows from the plenum into each of the vessels simultaneously. The vessels are positioned in the same plane relative to one another with each vessel having an inflow conduit extending from the hub to the vessel such that an arc segment is formed between the hub and the vessel.
Method of filling a container with no headspace
The present invention is directed to methods for filling a container wherein the filled container has no headspace. The present invention is further directed to methods for stabilizing an aqueous drug substance solution by filling a container with the aqueous drug substance solution wherein the filled container has no headspace. The present invention is further directed to methods for detecting headspace in a container.
Devices and methods for overfilling drug containers
Disclosed herein are methods for overfilling primary packaging components, and drug products prepared according to those methods. The methods may include introducing a volume of a formulated drug substance into a primary packaging component having a nominal volume, where the volume of the formulated drug substance is greater than the nominal volume of the primary packaging component. In some cases, the primary packaging component may be a prefillable syringe.
Injection device and injection solution transferring system
An injection device (10) comprises an injection solution receptacle (30) and a plunger (70) at least a portion of which is slidably received in the injection solution receptacle (30), wherein the plunger (70) is displaceable relative to the injection solution receptacle (30) in a distal direction in order to expel an injection solution contained in the injection solution receptacle (30) from the injection solution receptacle (30). A first plunger stop mechanism (140) is adapted to stop a displacement of the plunger (70) relative to the injection solution receptacle (30) in the distal direction at a first dosing position (P1). A second plunger stop mechanism (140) is adapted to stop a displacement of the plunger (70) relative to the injection solution receptacle (30) from the first dosing position (P1) in the distal direction at a second dosing position (P2), wherein the first and the second dosing position (P2) of the plunger (70) are selected in such a manner that the plunger (70), upon being displaced relative to the injection solution receptacle (30) between the first and the second dosing position (P2) is adapted to expel a desired dose of the injection solution contained in the injection solution receptacle (30) from the injection solution receptacle (30).
FILLING DEVICE FOR FILLING CONTAINERS IN A SINGLE-USE ISOLATOR
A filling device for metered filling of a filling material from a storage container into a dose receiving container. The device includes a single-use isolator with the receiving container provided therein to protect against contamination. The device includes a weighing device for holding and weighing the storage container with its contents outside of the isolator. The device includes a dispensing device inside the isolator to provide a dose-by-dose dispensing of the material. The device includes a conduit arrangement for connecting the storage container and the dispensing device and conveying the material from the storage container to the dispensing device via a removal device for a dose-by-dose removal of the material outside the isolator. The device includes a control device for controlling the removal device based on information from the weighing device about a decrease in weight of a unit consisting of the storage container and its contents during the removal.
PACKAGING OF POWDERY MATERIAL FOR PREPARATION OF A MEDICAL SOLUTION
A package (1) is configured to store a powdery material (2) which is to be mixed with a solvent to form a medical solution, such as a dialysis solution. The package (1) comprises a filled cavity portion (6a) containing the powdery material (2), optionally separated into groups of different composition, and a tab portion (9) integrally formed with the filled cavity portion (6a) and being swept around the filled cavity portion (6a) so as to define a roll-up package. The tab portion (9) forms a protective barrier that shields the powdery material (2), e.g. by counteracting transport of moisture into and out of the package. The tab portion (9) may also stabilize the package. The roll-up package is compact, and simple to manufacture and handle.
Filling nozzle
The present invention provides a filling nozzle obtained by using a resin selected from a cycloolefin polymer and a cycloolefin copolymer, or a filling nozzle including a tubular passage for supplying a pharmaceutical solution, and a filling port disposed at a lower end of the tubular passage, in which the tubular passage and the filling port have a circular peripheral cross-section, and an inner diameter of the passage of the filling port is larger than an inner diameter of the tubular passage disposed on an upstream side.
