Method for unpacking a workpiece, unpacking apparatus and a processing apparatus having an unpacking apparatus of this kind
A method for unpacking a workpiece, in particular an optical lens or an optical lens blank, from a package, includes an automated cutting open step of a first package side of the package, and an automated sliding of the workpiece out of the package step on the first package side. An unpacking apparatus for unpacking a workpiece from a package, has a feed station for receiving a package in which a workpiece is arranged, a cutting-open station having a first cutting or sawing tool for the automated cutting open of a first package side of the package downstream of the feed station, and a slide-out station downstream of the cutting-open station. A relative movement can be produced between the package and the workpiece in an automated manner so that the workpiece slides out of the package on the first package side.
Apparatus, system and method for opening and unpacking
An apparatus for opening a packaging in which a transport tub for objects is packaged, the packaging having a packaging portion which extends in an extent direction away from the transport tub, the apparatus having a cutting-open device for cutting open the packaging in order to generate an opening in the packaging, the cutting-open device being designed to cut off a first part of the packaging portion in order to generate the opening in the packaging, and having an inflating device for inflating the packaging through the opening generated in the packaging. The apparatus furthermore relates to a system for opening a packaging, and to a method.
Laminated food dispensing module for use with automatic grill system
A food dispensing module for a delaminating food dispensing system includes an outer housing; and a delaminating housing. The delaminating housing has a first portion being located within the outer housing and a second portion located outside the outer housing. The delaminating housing includes delaminating nips, a first film take-up roller, a second film take-up roller, an output opening, and a trap void. The output opening is located in the second portion of the delaminating housing.
BULK CONTAINER DISCHARGE STATION AND RELATED METHODS
The disclosure provides a bulk container discharge apparatus and related methods. An illustrative, non-limiting example of such an apparatus includes a base portion, a platform disposed on the base portion, the platform being configured to support a bulk container, and at least one articulating arm. The at least one articulating arm can have a first portion that is pivotally coupled to the base portion at a first pivot. The at least one articulating arm can be configured to lift a bulk container along a loading path (such as but not limited to an arcuate path) that is at least partially vertical from a lower position to an upper position to place the bulk container over the platform when in the articulating arm is in the upper position to facilitate discharging the contents of the bulk container.
Packaged Food Product and Method of Producing the Packaged Food Product
A packaged food product includes a container and a food product. The container has a rim and at least one sidewall extending from the rim to a bottom wall. The at least one sidewall and the bottom wall define a storage area, and the food product is retained within the storage area such that the food product is in contact with the at least one sidewall. The at least one sidewall is readily deformable by a hand of a user to reduce a volume of the storage area. Finger engaging recesses are formed in the bottom wall to assist in deforming the container, with reducing the volume of the storage area causing the food product to exit the storage area. The bottom wall of the container includes an integral tool portion for breaking up and/or tenderizing the food product after removal from the storage area. The food product can be a wet cat or dog food.
Method for unpacking and separating infusion bags into singles for supplying the bags to a device for further processing
The disclosure relates to a method for unpacking and separating infusion bags into singles for supplying the bags to a device for further processing. It includes the following steps: Opening an outer packaging, in which the infusion bags are present, by an opening device, wherein the infusion bags are fastened in groups to a holding device inside the outer packaging. Separating the group of infusion bags, which are fastened to the holding device, from the outer packaging by a separating device. Position the holding device with the infusion bags fastened thereon in a transport device by a positioning device. Processing the infusion bags by device for further processing.
HAND-HELD CUTTING TOOLS FOR OPENING BLISTERS OF BLISTER PILL PACKS
Hand-held cutting tool are provided that open blisters of a blister pill pack. The hand-held cutting tools includes a handle, an anvil, and a blade. The handle includes two arms having proximal and distal ends, and a connecting portion extending from the proximal ends of the arms. The connecting portion maintains spatial separation between the proximal ends of the arms. The anvil and blade extend from respective distal ends of the arms. The blade includes a cutting edge facing the anvil. The arms are configured to move between an open state and a closed state. When the arms are moved from the open state with the blister positioned between the anvil and the cutting edge to the closed state, the cutting edge is configured to puncture and cut the blister open to enable user access to pills inside the blister.
BIN UNLOADER
An article-unloading apparatus comprising a bin assembly including a bag inside a bin. The bin assembly is raised and lowered by a lift and tilted, when raised, to dump articles onto a decline conveyor, such as a ramp. A winch attached to the bag moves the bottom of the bag through the bin to help push articles from the tilted bin assembly. A camera takes a video image of the articles entering the ramp to detect clumps. Stops on the ramp are selectively actuated to block the bottom-most articles in a clump to help separate articles.

Packaging and docking system for non-contact chemical dispensing
A chemical dispensing system can include a docking stating that receives a reservoir containing chemical to be dispensed. The reservoir may have one or more retention tabs which are movable from a first position in which each tab extends radially across at least a portion of the bore to a second position in which each tab is offset relative to the bore. A user can engage the reservoir with the docking station, causing the one or more retention tabs on the reservoir to engage with one or more corresponding retention tab receiving regions. This can cause each retention tab to move from the first position to the second position, thereby dispensing chemical from the bore through a discharge aperture of the docking station. In this way, the contents of the reservoir may be dispensed without the user coming into physical content with the chemical in the reservoir.
