LIDLESS CONTAINER AND METHOD FOR ASSEMBLING THE CONTAINER
The container for product has a bottom wall and a lateral wall of tubular extension up to an annular and surrounding an opening for access to the inner volume. The container is of the type without cover or part that can be lost, including two distinct protrusions, projecting from the lateral wall in order to get a closed configuration, wherein the two protrusions are simultaneously: projecting opposite the bottom wall, from the annular end; and sealed to each other so as to form a sealing zone in order to hermetically close the opening. The container has two gripping portions, offset and distributed on the two protrusions and arranged outside of the sealing zone, which makes it quick to open. The container is recyclable, formed for example based on laminated paper or cardboard.

System and method for packaging of nested products
A packaging system for the selection, grouping and loading of varying size and/or configuration product packs into cartons as provided. The packaging system includes a selection area having a primary selector for forming an initial product pack configuration, and a secondary selector adapted to select and direct an additional grouping of products into a nested arrangement against the initial product pack so as to form a nested product pack. The nested product packs thereafter can be engaged by loader arms of a pair of opposed loading assemblies, which move the nested product packs into a series of cartons moving through the packaging machine. Thereafter, the ends of the cartons can be closed and sealed to complete the packaging of the product packs therein.

Process and machine for reducing the height of boxes with a square or rectangular cross section
Process for reducing the height of a box to the level of the apex of the stack of objects therein, wherein horizontal score lines are made at a height substantially equal to that of the apex of the stack of objects and such that the distance between the apex and the top of the box is greater than the half-width of the box. During a phase of simultaneous folding of the upper parts of the two side walls parallel to the length of the box toward the centre thereof, and before the upper edges or ridges of the upper parts meet, the angles of inclination of the upper parts are differentiated with respect to one another so that, when the upper parts meet, the upper edge of one covers the upper edge of the other, the upper parts sliding over one another during the final phase of folding the latter.

Anvil device
An anvil device (10) is for insertion into an end closure of a partially formed container. The anvil device (10) comprises a bracket (12) and an anvil body (14) connected to one end of the bracket (12). The anvil body (14) comprises four corners (C1 to C4) where the distance between one pair of diagonally opposite corners (C1, C3) is less than the distance between the other pair of diagonally opposite corners (C2, C4). The anvil body (14) is asymmetric and one corner (C1) is closer to the centre of the anvil body (14) than each of the other three corners (C2 to C4).

Snap Container for Pre-Portioned Product and Related Methods
A container for packaging a pre-portioned amount of liquid or dry product is provided that includes a one-piece outer casing defining an interior reservoir. The outer casing has a cylindrical shell that is closed at one end by a rounded tip and open at the opposing end with an open circular outer edge/rim defining a mouth. To fill the container, the product is introduced through the mouth into the interior reservoir; then opposing edges of the rim are compressed together and sealed with heat to create an elongated seal having two opposing ends. Multiple types of elongated seals are provided. In one aspect the outer casing is formed unitarily of a plastic resin. To open the container, the consumer squeezes the two opposing seal ends/termini toward each other; this deforms the elongated seal and causes the seal to snap open, which allows access to the product.
