Battery label alignment device and method

A battery label attachment apparatus for attaching a label to a battery including a label support on which the label is placed, an alignment check part configured to check whether an alignment state of the label is normal or defective, and a label aligning part configured to align the label when the alignment state determined by the alignment check part is defective is provided. A method for attaching a label to a battery is also provided.

Rotatable tamp head and automated dimension determination

Printing systems may include a rotatable tamp head that may be repositioned, as necessary, in order to cause a label to be printed in a specific location or in a certain alignment on an object. Such tamp heads may be repositioned as necessary where the label may cross a seam, a crease, a fold or another surface feature which might cause the label to be bowed or damaged in transit. The tamp head may be positioned in a manner that would enable any information, markings or bar codes thereon to remain legible and intact even if the label is applied across such a surface feature. An orientation of the object may be determined using one or more sensors aligned at various angles with respect to a direction of travel of the object.

Aspects herein provide a system, methods, and media for applying labels to objects without overlapping or obscuring existing labels or other indicia. In some aspects, an object in motion and labels or indicia on the object are visually identified using near real-time imaging and details of geometric characteristics are determined. An additional label is then generated, printed, and physically applied or attached to the object in motion so that the angle, placement, and orientation of the additional label matches or aligns with the existing labels or indicia, without overlapping or obscuring the existing labels or indicia.

Device and method for labeling individual packages

An apparatus for labeling a package (1) including an advancing device (2) for transporting the package in a transport direction (X) and an application device (3) for applying a dispensed label (4) to the package. The application device includes an oscillating punch (7) having a punch stem (5) and a punch foot (6) connected thereto. The dispensed label is picked up by the punch foot from a pickup position, moved to a deposit position, and applied by the punch foot to the package. The punch stem is movably mounted on a guide element (8), held in a direction of gravitational force (Y) by a holder (9), and mounted pivotably about a horizontal pivot axis (X1) that runs orthogonal to the direction of gravitational force. The guide element carries at least one component of the holder and is pivotable about the pivot axis. Also a labeling method that utilizes the apparatus.

Product transfer apparatus and product transfer system

A product transfer apparatus includes a product suction pad part having a suction cup part capable of sucking a plate-like product, a transfer base whose lower part has the product suction pad part, and a label suction part having a label pad, which is able to suck a label to be pasted to the product, and an up-down function of moving the label pad up and down between a position upper than and a position lower than the position of a front end of the suction cup part.

Apparatus for labelling individual products

The invention relates to a device (1) for labelling individual products (2), in particular packages or goods, with a feed device (3) for transporting a respective product (2) along a transporting path, with a label application device (4) with a blower head (5) for applying a label (6) to the surface of the product (2), wherein the blower head (5) has holding means (7) for fixing the label (6) in a blow-off position (II) and blow-off means (8) for producing a blast of compressed air directed in a blow-off direction (A) from the blow-off position (II) to the feed device (3), and with a label dispensing device (9) for providing a label (6) in a dispensing position (I). In order to precisely transfer labels (6) to a surface of a product (2) to be labelled in the simplest way possible the invention proposes that the label application device (4) comprises a conveying unit (11) for transporting the respective label (6) from the dispensing position (I) to the blow-off position (II), wherein the conveying unit (11) has a transporting element (12) and pressing force generation means (14). The invention also relates to a method of labelling individual products (2).
