REDUCING TACK OF ADHESIVE OOZE ON COMPONENTS USED IN LABELING AND PACKAGING
Apparatus and methods for reducing the tack of adhesive ooze around components and other materials associated with articles and labeling and packaging of articles. In some embodiments, the packaging includes a substrate, an adhesive, a component, a de-tackifying agent, and an ooze zone. The substrate may be a shrink sleeve label. The adhesive may be a pressure sensitive adhesive used to attach the component to the substrate. The component may be a smart component or a promotional material. The de-tackifying agent may reduce the tackiness of the adhesive that oozes (i.e., progresses) beyond the interface of the component and the substrate into an adjacent ooze zone when heat, pressure, or heavy coat weight is applied to the packaging.

Method and system for forming sleeved containers
The invention relates to a system and method for forming sleeved containers. The system includes a conveyor for transporting a row of containers, a sleeving unit for arranging sleeves around containers and a heat oven for attaching the sleeve around the container by heat shrinking. The conveyed containers are provided with a sleeve and the sleeved container is transported in the oven to allow the sleeve to shrink. According to the invention, part of the sleeve is removed using a removal unit. The part is removed after heat shrinking. Removing the part allows to uncover part of the container otherwise covered by sleeve.

LAYER TRANSFERRING DEVICE INCLUDING HEAT ROLLER PROVIDED IN MAIN CASING AND MOVABLE RELATIVE TO PRESSURE ROLLER PROVIDED AT COVER
A layer transferring device includes: a main casing having an opening and accommodating a heat roller, a motor, and a first transmission gear therein; a film cartridge; and a cover at which a pressure roller and a second transmission gear is provided and movable about a pivot axis to open and close the opening. The heat roller is movable toward and away from the pressure roller when the cover is closed. When the film cartridge is attached to the main casing and the cover is closed, the multilayer film contacts and passes through between the pressure roller and the heat roller. When the cover is closed, the first transmission gear for receiving a driving force from the motor and the second transmission gear for transmitting a driving force to the pressure roller are positioned between the pivot axis and the heat roller and in meshing engagement with each other.
Method, apparatus and system for attaching a label on a product
The present disclosure relates to a method of attaching a shrinkable label on at least one product wherein the shrinkable label comprises a film comprising heat shrinkable material and photothermic material, the method comprising: transporting a plurality of products on a product conveyor through an irradiation volume defined by a plurality of UV light emitters arranged sideways of the product conveyor; arranging at least one reflector between consecutive products on the product conveyor while the at least one product is being transported; controlling the UV light emitters to emit UV-light towards the shrinkable label arranged around the at least one product in the irradiation volume and towards the at least one reflector arranged between consecutive products in order for the photothermic material of the shrinkable label to heat up causing the heat shrinkable material to shrink around the at least one product.
