DRINK CUP
A drink cup includes a body formed to include an interior region providing a fluid-holding reservoir and a brim. The brim is coupled to the body to form an opening into the interior region. The body includes a floor and a sidewall that extends away from the floor. The drink cup further includes a body-strengthening system coupled to the body.
CONTAINER HAVING A STACKING FEATURE
A container having enhanced wall integrity with a rotational element and a stacking feature is provided. The container includes a sidewall having an alignment structure formed along a height of the sidewall and an upper stacking shoulder formed above the alignment structure. The alignment structure is adapted for orienting the container with respect to a second container so that the alignment structures of the containers become parallel with one another and the containers may be fully nested one within the other. The alignment structure can be recessed into the sidewall to form peaks and valleys along an inner surface of the container. The upper stacking feature is formed into the sidewall of the container and includes a radially extending wall portion and an upwardly extending wall portion that together form a stacking corner. The stacking shoulder is provided above the alignment structure facilitates nesting of two containers when stacked together.
CUP AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
Provided are a cup made of metal and a method of manufacturing the same capable of reducing material costs and molding costs, preventing deformation while reducing weight, preventing a user's mouth or hand from touching an edge of a metal material, and preventing hygiene problems. A cup made of metal open on an upper surface side includes a bottom portion and a body portion, the cup including a curled portion at the tip end on an upper opening side of the body portion. The curled portion includes a curvature region from the body portion toward the tip end, and a section at least from the body portion to a lowermost portion of the curled portion in the curvature region has a radius of curvature that decreases stepwise or continuously.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING CONTAINER AND APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING CONTAINER
A method of manufacturing a container made of metal, including a bottom portion and a body portion, being open on an upper face side, and having a shape in which the body portion expands outward toward the upper face side. The method includes a stretch forming step of expanding a diameter of a stepped cup body made of metal by operating a diameter expanding punch having a tapered pressing portion that is smaller in diameter than an inner diameter of the large-diameter cylindrical portion and larger in diameter than an inner diameter of the small-diameter cylindrical portion of the stepped cup body along a cylindrical axis direction from an opening side of the large-diameter cylindrical portion, in which the stretch forming step is performed at least once.
Method of forming an article
Methods of forming an article from a molten plastic composition comprising a polymer and a blowing agent. The methods include injecting the molten plastic composition into a mould, allowing the plastic composition to form a first solid skin adjacent to an in contact with a first cavity-forming surface of the mould and a second solid skin adjacent to and in contact with a second cavity-forming surface of the mould, and then opening the mould before the molten plastic composition between the first and second solid skins in at least one portion of the circumference of a region of the mould cavity defining an annular cross-section of the cavity has solidified.
CAN CONTAINER
A first aspect of the present invention provides a can container including: a can body of a cylindrical shape, and at least a surface coating layer, in which the surface coating layer is formed on at least a part of an outer peripheral surface of the can body, the surface coating layer has a resin component, and surface free energy of a surface of the surface coating layer is 30 mJ/m.sup.2 or more and 50 mJ/m.sup.2 or less at a temperature of 25° C.
CONTAINER
A container made of metal and open on an upper face side includes a bottom portion and a body portion. In one example, the body portion of the container is formed into a shape in which, given 100% as a total height of the container, a line connecting an outer peripheral face at a height of 10% to an outer peripheral face at a height of 90% from a lowermost portion spreads outward at an angle of from 2° to 15°. When two of such a container are stacked, a projecting portion of the container above projecting upward has a height of 20 mm or less from an upper end of a container below.
COATED PAPERBOARD CONTAINERS AND METHODS
A coated paperboard container includes a precursor paperboard substrate that includes a paperboard substrate and a barrier coating on the paperboard substrate. The coated paperboard container also includes an aqueous barrier coating on at least a portion of the barrier coating after the precursor paperboard container is formed with the barrier coating.
Single-serve beverage cup
A single serve beverage cup, including for wine, is disclosed having a base, a bowl, a seal and a cover. The container may also include an outer package and an inner package. There is also disclosed a single serve beverage cup having a cavity for receiving a miniature liquor bottle for making a cocktail.
Cup and method for the manufacturing of a cup
A cup having a cup opening surrounded by a rim, a bottom opposite the cup opening, a longitudinal axis extending from the cup opening to the bottom, an upper portion disposed closer to the rim than to the bottom and having an outer surface and an inner surface, the upper portion either having a constant diameter or the upper portion being frustoconical and tapering from an upper diameter to a lower diameter, an intermediate portion disposed between the upper portion and the base, the intermediate portion having an outer surface and an inner surface, the intermediate portion either having a constant diameter or the intermediate portion being frustoconical and tapering from an upper diameter to a lower diameter, each diameter of the upper portion being greater than each diameter of the intermediate portion, wherein a sequence of characters is provided on the outer surface of the upper portion projecting above other portions of the outer surface.
